Playing Honkai Star Rail has me actually kind of wanting to play Honkai Impact despite the lack of men, but I don’t have room on my phone for both… so I think once my boyfriend and I get a chair for our computer since the one we have now isn’t great, I’ll play HSR on the PC and clear out that room for HI3. Unless HSR comes out on the PlayStation first, which I would adore.

Gosh I feel you on the yandere thing being displayed wrong by these people, it's like they don't even do proper digging into what the trope means. They just see "violent yandere" wording and go "Ah. Violent over small things." Yanderes are possessive and obsessed, not murder-over-anything tropes. They'd look past a least favorite color if it meant more time with their beloved. I can't see one killing their beloved over a least favorite color - In fact, the opposite - I can see them painfully trying to make their least favorite color look beautiful to them on their beloved if they ever come across one's corpse, forcing themselves to make the color look good in their eyes, because it's a color their beloved liked. Yanderes aren't "You have to be everything I like" about it, it's more... "You are my everything and I don't want ANY of that to be gone from me." - Hatorishimaselfship

Yes! This! Literally! Genuinely the only time I can possibly see a yandere killing their beloved is in a very extreme case of “if I can’t have you, no one can” and not… because they wore a color they liked and the yandere didn’t? It’s just like you said. A yandere is much more likely to look past a least favorite color or even pretend to like it to make their beloved happy, because to a yandere, their beloved is their whole world.

I’m so glad you agree with me on this, like… genuinely they just do not seem to grasp what a yandere is.
