Ask Nintendo to allow Backup Game Saves in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

cloud save backups are disabled for animal crossing: new horizons to avoid cheating. while cheating is a concern, we’re urging nintendo to find a compromise as a solution (less frequent backups or a limit to restoring them). animal crossing is a game played in real-time, and losing a year of progress means playing an entire year to get back to where you were (plus you can’t recreate a town exactly, by the game’s design). i’ve put 3500 hours into new leaf, and i’d be devastated if i lost my progress after so many hours and years. please sign this petition and help urge nintendo to change their minds.
