I have a mushroom(?)

A while ago my father dug up a bunch of vintage jars on his property and inside looked to be a spider-web of something. I took it home and put it in my window and it started to grow into these frosty glass-like spikes. Asked my partner who grows shrooms how to care for it/what it is to which he didn't really have an answer to either. He did suggest giving it some corn to snack on, wood or dirt.

It didn't really like the corn so I tried some rotting wood from the same property and bingo! A feast! This lil guy nearly tripled in size since being properly fed (~2 weeks ago). They used to only occupy one side of the jar but now they are on both and growing more as they spread on the woodchips.

Some observations: It doesn't look like a mold because the strands are too thick, they're almost about a hairs width and strong (holding up the woodchip). It's more pointy than fuzzy. I did a little search and it looks like the beginnings of Hair Ice but that doesn't really fit because this was found in the summer. It does respond positively to sunlight and seems to favor the side of the jar closest to the sun/window.

Any information as to what this is/how to take care if it is greatly appreciated!

Toxic opinion but the euphoria you get after being off your meds, relapsing, but then like immediately taking care of yourself and getting back on the cycle is unmatched. What do you mean I was crying yesterday? I literally just made a bagel with cream cheese and honey life is amazing lol

Undefeated. They defy god by refusing to turn into crabs. Edible bones. I could eat a billion of those horrible sea bugs. If I was a flamingo I would be so happy.
