Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if Martin had visited Thomas and the others after they left.

He'd have seen them grow up. Maybe Martin would even have stayed to babysit Thomas' children (if he had any) sometimes :D And Martin'd probably have come to his friend's funerals too.

So it's quick moment of cozy reflection on possible (but not necessarily happened) events :3

I think after Martin found out the truth about the Lady, he'd like her to take away his conscience as soon as possible.

He's starting a new family with the new knowledge that he's now the villain in this story. He won't tell them the truth: he needs the family to be together and the Lady to be fed. I don't think Martin will be able or will allow himself to truly bond with his new family members – after all, he's deceiving them now, deliberately condemning their souls to destruction. This thought must torment Martin terribly. At least for a while. After all, one day the Lady will take that part of his soul – the painful and unpleasant one – his conscience. And then everything else.

I think, over time, Martin will increasingly resemble a cartoonish fanatic. Because his soul will wither, and his world will gradually shrink to the scope of the Lady alone.

By the end of his life, Martin will barely resemble a human being. As he promised, the last thing that will remain of him is his love for the Lady.

What language do the Lady's servants speak? After all, they are from different countries. How do they understand each other?

The Lady's servants speak their own language, a dialect of sorts – a blend of various other languages.

Martin's native language was likely used as a basis, then "built upon" and blended with other languages. Martin, Felicia, and other soul catchers learn languages to recruit people from all over the world. And those who join the Lady gradually adapt and learn their common language. And the Lady's magic facilitates the integration process.

Sweet dreams, my dove

After death, neither paradise, nor hell, nor rebirth awaits Martin. He'll simply vanish – painlessly and irrevocably. Martin's body will lie peacefully, like a sleeping prince, until it's devoured by decay and new flowers bloom in the Lady’s garden.

There're some Lady's servants!

Martin and Thomas are the story's protagonists; they are best friends, though very different. Martin is hopelessly devoted to the Lady. He's responsible and more of a homeboy (though he has to leave the Lady's domain often – he's her soul catcher after all).

Thomas, on the other hand, is an adventurer, but is forced to spend all his time at the manor. He loves pranks, but even his jokes can't make the Lady angry.

Giovanni is an artist with constant migraines (or is he faking them?). He's as fragile as a flower and enjoys special treatment. He also has an excellent memory.

Augustus is the gardener, a soft, kind-hearted, plump and timid pastries enjoyer. He's very sensitive to the opinions of others and gets upset when someone is upset.

The maid Maria is so engrossed in embroidery that the other servants have no place to put the handiwork she gives them. On the other hand, now they all have panties with a lovingly embroidered floral pattern. Besides, Maria always has words of encouragement and makes the most delicious tea.

Her friend Naomi rarely speaks, but she knows everything about everyone. Perhaps only the Lady knows more about the other servants than she does.

Felicia is Thomas's greatest love. She smells like the sea and dreams of living on the shore. Unfortunately, Lady's estate only has a pond. Thomas also really enjoys tugging Felicia's braid.

There are also other servants at Lady's domain, but there are no drawings of them yet :D
