friend found THE heisei underpass she still lives in some manner even if the area's been under construction since 2014

And now for the kicker: it's known to fans and in the industry as the Nagaishi underpass or the Nagaishi stairs because legendary heisei-1 director Takao Nagaishi LOVED filming here...Nagaishi sadly died in 2013 but i hope this tiny landmark he thought looked so fuckin cool survives....
