Being the most emotional person on SK, I think I’m the only one who gets really angry at posts like these (the others just shrug it off cause tbh, these kinds of posts don’t affect us).
Like seriously. Do you really think the 10% discount really does something for us? Did you even run the math?
Ok, so to make the most out of the 10%, you would need to get at least 1 free gene from it. The cheapest gene you can get is the Stripes that sell for 110,000 treasure on normal days and 99,000 treasure on discount days at the marketplace. To get a free gene, you would need to buy at least 9 of this gene. That means you’d need at least 990,000 treasure just to be able to make the entire thing profitable for you.
990,000 treasure is not easy to make. Especially when you’re vying for dominance. Cause you need to always have more than 990,000 on hand just so you’re sure to profit on the 10%.
Before you guys tell us that the reason we’re doing this is because we’re profiting from the 10% discount and the rich players are proof of it, go run the math. Sure, it is profitable when you get the “free gene”, but unless you’re actually already rich, you’re just going to get about 200,000 profit for that week with dominance. Which you could get also by actually playing the market.
I’m just so done with people getting worked up and being so angry at my flight simply because of something so little as 10%. I can’t take sitting here and reading the shit people say about my friends in Ice who dedicate a LOT of their time to gain money just to exalt. Please don’t forget, they also work hard for their treasure and money. Just like everyone else, they also get the games fucking up and the extreme lags, but they sit them out because once they’ve set their goals to something, they are willing to spend ridiculous hours for it.
I don’t care if anyone’s excuse is that they don’t have time and have priorities and shit. Everyone has priorities and if these people spend all the hours they’re dedicating to FR for something more productive like exercise or finding a job, they could. But no, they spent it on FR. So I think they would at LEAST deserve have everything they have and actually be entitled to their own things.
Cut them some slack. They’re playing the same game everyone’s playing and it’s not fair for them OR ANYONE IN ICE to be treated like trash because of association and/or wanting something and getting it in the game. I know a lot of people are angry because money = win, but money = hardwork not everyone sees because you guys are not in our flight/social group.
Everyone makes it seem like we magically make our money appear. We don’t magically have money appear in our pockets. It has to come from somewhere and it’s either carefully monitored market, carefully planned breedings and patiently fighting the servers just to play the games.
I don’t normally care cause these comments don’t affect my game play at all since discount or no discount, I can still play the game, meet wonderful people in and out of the Ice Flight and over-all be entertained by the game. I get my bank from the Coliseum, so if people were to boycott the entire Ice Flight, I’m still getting a good amount of money to fund my clan. I just don’t understand why people are so willing to be prejudicial, easy to stereotype and be very discriminatory towards other HUMAN BEINGS simply because of association and a small feature that doesn’t greatly affect the game UNLESS they make it affect them (Dominance is a choice, not a required aspect of the game). I understand everyone has the right to dislike and like what they like, but this is pushing it too far. Too far that people are willing to promote oppression, isolation and discrimination towards people, engaging in Dominance or otherwise, that are actually just playing the game.
Sorry for the really long post, I just want to get this out. I am in no way a representative of the Ice Flight nor am I sharing the same opinions with the people that run this blog. I’m just a person, a very emotionally compelled person, who is in Ice Flight and has friends in the Ice Flight who work their butts off, literally and figuratively, for dominance as well.
If you would still decide to dislike Ice, then I’d rather you dislike the ~*Rich*~ members instead. Cause we’re all not the same in Ice. And it’s not fair for the others that aren’t involved in this entire thing to get flack simply because of the banner they bear.
So now I have vented and it’s off to school for me. Let’s all hug it out and kisses and loves and huggles all around, ok? All this is doing is put wrinkles on our foreheads and eyes. Those don’t make anyone pretty and I care for you, kk.
