This is a piece I did in memory of a person who passed away. I never knew them personally(friend of a friend type thing), but someone that was close to them described what the person was like and this is what I came up with. I was told that it made the relatives happy to see this, and it makes me very happy knowing that I can help in this way. If we work hard and develop skills that can add something to the world, you get to decide if it will be beneficial or a set-back. You make the decision.
Always Be Yourself II - Each person gets to choose what they do with their life. It is a decision. You can let people control you, or you can bite back if someone gets out of line. You can help others or you can help yourself. You can see how much you can get out of the world, or you can see how much you can give back to it. You get to make the decisions in your life. Certainly, each of us has our own set of circumstances, but if you're attempting to do something that you truly believe in, but your environment is holding you back, sometimes you just gotta put up two fingers and say fuck you.

The internet is arguably one of the most powerful tools that we have, and it is a tool that so many people have access to. Since 2005, the amount of internet users has done more than tripled. So much of what you have to say, I think is dumb and poorly thought-out. Likewise, so many of the wild things that I say, you would think are foolish and outlandish. I do not mean this as a diss, it is just our nature and involuntary perception. Each one of us has our own mind and unique understanding of the world, we see through our own eyes.
Us having our differences of opinions is a normal thing and it is not a problem, it is what makes the world salty and diverse because there can be different truths for different people. Now, this will continue to not be a problem until the point when we begin to blur the lines between "I disagree with you" and "everything you say is wrong." This lack of distinction is something that happens so, so, much.
Self-reflection and communication is what makes us special.
We are able to surround ourselves with the people who we agree with, whether that be in the physical world, or via the bubble of information that we have individually customized for our selves on the internet. It is too easy for us to get so caught up in what is our personal beliefs, that we can build an impenetrable barrier around it and shut our self off from being exposed to everyone else's.
Us realizing our differences and learning how to communicate with each other, despite them, is very important right now, for many reasons that I do not even need to mention here. Pick whichever issue you would like. Instead of attacking the other, we need to learn how to engage in meaningful discussion and understand each other, WITH our disparities.
Instead of viewing disagreements and debates as a way to prove your point by any means, instead try to see it as an opportunity for both sides to get closer to the truth. All you have to do is allow yourself to be exposed to the things that you do not like to hear, and truly listen to what they have to say. After all, they are doing the same exact thing that you are doing, speaking what they believe is the truth(as long as they are a honest person).
For a plus, by practicing this, you are going to make so many interesting friends, because you all are going to learn from each other and get to take part in new exciting experiences. That is just extra gravy for your mashed potatoes. But in all honesty, if we can embrace each other with our varied views, then I believe that we can take huge steps forward. Not only in one field or party, but across the entire spectrum of all peoples and cultures.
#Inktober - 31 .. I have really, really, enjoyed Inktober this year, which is the first time I have done it. The biggest thing that I have taken away from it is that everything should not be taken so seriously. When I am doing creative things, I demand the best from myself and whoever I am working with, which is a good habit, but I still need to remind myself to maintain a healthy balance. I wouldn't want to stress myself to the point where my hair falls out.
#Inktober - 30 - Found .. I have found things that I really love and it makes me so happy to have them as part of my every day life. I truly hope that all people can have that for themselves too. Shaft the naysayers.
Inktober - 29 - United .. The law that says "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" goes way beyond physics. The words that you speak cause a reaction inside the minds of the people that hear them. If you work hard and practice at something, you will get better at it. I think the yin yang carries a good understanding: there will always be the dark and the light.
Inktober - 28 - Fall .. Every one of us fall, and that is a normal thing.
Inktober - 27 - Climb .. We want to be way up, and then we want to stay up. So, climb up to what you aspire to, and if you think you have found a shortcut, be very weary.
#Inktober - 26 - Squeak .. If you have a baby, go play with their chubby little face. I can't wait to exchange silly faces with my future little boy or girl!

This is my take on Trail. Not only can it be a physical thing, but also what trail you are taking in life, a game, a conversation, drifting, or whatever you would like. We gotta find what trail or path is right for us, and sometimes you need to be tightly decisive or else you'll drive right off the edge. What do you think?
