…Was that…? “Me of all–” Oh god it was. Judar smirked, eyes glancing over Aladin. “…Well, well, well~ If it isn’t the baby magi… Long time no see, huh~?” More importantly, however, was the strangely familiar energy exuding from the younger magi. It was sinister, darker… Dare he say it, blackened. His smirk widened into a depraved yet genuine smile, his gaze shifting up and down Aladin’s figure.
“My, you’ve certainly changed… Anything specific trigger your desire for depravity?” ─ ⟡
Aladdin was stuck between a rock and a hard place, literally. He ended up at a dead end and Judar was blocking his only exit.
Clearly he was no longer a ‘baby’, but he was certain that correcting Judar on the matter would be a pointless effort. Folding his arms across his chest, and glaring at the other magi, Aladdin spoke up “There is always a specific trigger to achieve depravity. I’m not really in the mood to share mine.”
empressofkou:
Her azure eyes observed carefully every one of his gestures and movements. The fallen boy was such a fascinating person to watch, especially because the mixture of darkness and power emerging from the black birds flickering around him bought shivers from delight to ran across her spine.
She bought a sleeve to her lips, muffling the giggles escaping her lips. ‘’Oh, are you really? You don’t seem like it~’’ She placed a slender hand on his hair and moved her face closer to him. ‘’Aren’t you bored of all this? Don’t you want to do something more fun?’’
Aladdin didn’t seem to mind Gyokuen in his personal space nor did he mind the rukh that surrounded her. In some strange way her rukh seemed familiar, yet he couldn’t figure out why.
Sighing, Aladdin closed up the scroll and sat up straighter as he turned his attention to the empress. True, reading a scroll could get boring, but he actually enjoyed them. However reading one all day did get annoying. “So, did you have anything fun in mind?”

Aladdin simply smiled at the ignored question and took note of it. Yet the magi’s smile slowly dropped at the mention of their last get together. Everyone always seemed to mention that they ‘starting’ to worry after his disappearance.
“How have I been? …With all things considering I’m doing okay, I suppose.”
Something in that answered kept him on his feet. A small sigh left his lips as he approached Aladdin, kneeling down, pushing a smile onto his face. Reaching into his sleeve, a small box was taken out from it. “Here, this is for you. I was waiting for your return to give this to you."
Inside was a bracelet, not made of cheap metals. It shined just like how it looked - mighty and proud, as the child was.
"..." Taking the box, Aladdin slowly opened it and looked inside. A bracelt nestled on top of cloth was inside. Aladdin couldn't help but look surprised as he took the metal bracelt out.
"Why?" The first word that left his lips "I mean...you were going to give this to me...why?" His voice came out soft.

empressofkou has graced you with her presence.
“…Gyokuen? Aren’t you a little to busy to have left your throne room?”
A smile carved into her porcelain visage. ‘’I may be the empress but that doesn’t mean I should always attend to my duties~ I’ll finish them all later,’’ she chuckled, as she continued. ‘’I actually came to see how you were doing, dear~’’
Staring at the empress for a moment, Aladdin turned his attention back towards the scroll he had been reading. "I'm not doing anything exciting like your Oracle." Placing his elbow on the table, the magi rested his chin in his hand as he continued to read.
"...I'm fine."

Aladdin stared at the advisor quietly before sighing and standing up “When you visit people do you normally hide your presence, Ja'far?”
It felt weird seeing the general again after so long. Just as it had been when he met his friends. “Well, here I am. It’s been a long time hasn’t it?” Clasping his hands being his back, Aladdin smiled.
Deciding for the better to ignore the first question, a slight smile formed on his face. Perhaps if he acted the same, this wouldn’t turn out to be anything quizzical. This was just a simple thing, a simple meeting, after all.
“It’s been too long. I was starting to worry what happened to you after out last get together.” He returned the smile, taking a few more steps into the room. “Have things been well for you?”

“Well this is a surprise, of all the people to show up it’s you.”

princess-of-ryuus has wandered to far from home.
“…You look lost.”

Aladdin stopped momentarily to glance over at Ja'far before going back to brushing his hair. Impassivly, the magi sighed “Well, a few years to learn about the rukh will do that.”
Placing the brush down, Aladdin finally turned his completely attention to Ja'far. “ I know it’s been awhile (years) since we last met,” he said softly as he brushed back some of his hair behind his shoulder. “What were you expecting to finding while being hidden?”
Stepping into the room, he didn’t care come any closer. The look on his face, not to mention his words, seemed weird to him. Where did the cheerful lad go? Did something happen to him over the past few years? Ja’far was more than confused.
“Certain things.” He left the answer rather vague, hands resting upon his stomach. “I heard you had returned recently, so I came to visit…” He seemed more uncertain than before, in all honesty.

With the unanswered reply Aladdin continued to comb his hair. Taking care of his hair always took awhile and this time was no different. He paid little attention to the person hiding, if they weren’t going to move he wasn’t going to stop.
That was until he was certain his hair was detangled and he could run a brush through it with no problems. “You must enjoy watching me brush my hair if you’re still there,” he called out slightly amused.
The silence continued from the hidden man, waiting moments after spoken words to finally come out from around the corner. There seemed to be no hiding from Aladdin, now, was there? “The complete opposite, actually.” He spoke softly, something rather unnatural of him. Almost reminiscent of his olden days. “You’re rather talented for picking up that I was there, Aladdin.” That wasn’t how he last remembered him. Something seemed..off, especially in his voice.

It had been awhile since he last attended to his hair but luckily not as along as the last. Combining his hand through his hair, Aladdin picked up the comb by him and went to work. Sure he could have used magic to fix it, but the actual action of combing was relaxing.
“…Stop hiding and come out already.”
Ja’far was hidden off in a corner, keeping tabs on Aladdin. Something had been off about the Magi; he didn’t seem like himself. His back pressed against the wall, he watched the attended from earlier in the day leave, and stayed there, using one of his darts like a mirror. Watching his every move, wondering what was so different about him. Hearing him speak, his brow furrowed in, moving the dart closer to the darkness of the doorway, but remained silent, ignoring the demand with a slightly heavy foot.

Even the small things (like food when your starving) can mean the difference between cursing your fate and falling into depravity, and retaining the ability to move forward in life.
