As the radio began to play that song, her vision faded to black. Kaliya doesn’t remember grabbing the steering wheel, wrestling with the Sheriff for control of the truck. She didn’t hear Hudson scream, or Pratt’s frantic prayer. 

When she came back to her senses, she had blood all over her face and hands. Before she could figure out where she was or what happened, the earth shook violently. The sky lit up violently and the world as they knew it was consumed by fire. It could of only been luck that she made it to a stocked bunker nearby and hunkered down for a few years. When she did emerge, she found her way to Prosperity to reunite with her friends.

In her youth she was a competitive gymnast and a high school cheerleader. She grew up being close with her grandfather, a WWII sharpshooter who would often reminisce of his time with his buddies and the passion he had to serve and protect. Kaliya was no stranger to the shooting range, as she wanted to follow in her grandfathers footsteps.

Her junior and senior years of high school she attended a school that had a junior officer program. After graduating high school she took a break from school, mostly taking odd jobs to make some money and help her parents out. Despite the desire she had when she was younger to pursue something further in gymnastics, she never really did anything with it after high school. Other than her regular jogging schedule and light weight lifting, she did slow down a bit when it came to athletics.

Her grandmother wanted the family to attend Sunday church services, having always been a woman of faith, even currently, in her old age and poor health she still attends church every Sunday morning. Despite her grandmother, Kaliya’s parents were only casually religious and didn’t push her to be religious if she didn’t want to be. Her grandfather passed away about a year after the Seed’s moved into town and her grandmother moved to live with her oldest son in Washington.

The whole Eden’s Gate shit started to pick up more, they started to be a problem to the community. The whole thing really pissed her off, from John being a problem for her parent’s and their antique shop in Falls End to catching wind of what Jacob had going on in the old veterans center. Kaliya really resents Jacob and what he’s got going on in the Whitetails, especially because her grandfather loved the Veteran Center back when he was alive.

At this time, Kaliya decided to do something, and has been working for the County Sheriff’s Department for a short period of time. When the opportunity to shut these motherfuckers down and stop their reign of bullshit came around, she was quick to volunteer to be on the team to help arrest Joseph Seed.
