people are really fucking clueless about generative ai huh? you should absolutely not be using it for any sort of fact checking no matter how convenient. it does not operate in a way that guarantees factual information. its goal is not to deliver you the truth but deliver something coherent based on a given data set which may or may not include factual information. both the idolization of ai and fearmongering of it seem lost on what it is actually capable of doing

I was having an argument with someone and they showed a screenshot as "proof" and it was just the fucking Google AI result from a Google search. And I was like "Hey so this is not a good source and you shouldn't be using it as one" and they replied with "It was just to solidify my point, it said it better." If you can't support your argument without an AI generated search result, maybe you don't actually understand what you're arguing?

Saw a lot of people making moodboards (mostly for kintypes) and wanted to give it a go.
