I was commissioned to repaint a Rainbow High Pacific Coast Bella Parker into a unicorn inspired by this make up look by @sarahc_29.
As per usual, whenever I think something is relatively simple to do, it proceeds to kick my butt. There was so much fixing on my end.
A lot of the shimmer and color shifting effects from the paints I used were unfortunately lost with the MSC. It's still shimmery in person, but sadly not as much as it could have been if I had planned things better.
Having my own Bella nearby was extremely helpful, since I kept mixing my paints on the colder end of the spectrum. They also wanted an emphasis on pink and less purples compared to the inspiration photo. I still felt it needed some purple hues in there to bring the pink and blue together, so I added them around her eyes. I admit the magenta got a bit away from me, but at least it's also present in the lips so it's somewhat balanced. In order to bring in the gold of the horn onto the rest of the face, I added a thin line of gold make up around her eyes and dusted shimmery rose gold mica powder to further warm her face and spread that gold tinge around.
As always, in the end I can see where I could have and should have done something different. But I'm still pretty happy with the final outcome especially considering all the obstacles that have arisen in my personal life the last few months.
