This is a blog designed to promote desi content and voices from the shows ATLA and LOK and from the comics. 

To get your content, such as edits, fanart, fanfics, and gifs, on this blog, you can:

An important thing to remember..do NOT erase a character’s pre-existing culture such as making katara desi or making any of the couples with asian and indigenous cultures have an indian wedding, etc. Although we want more desi content, it is not right to erase pre existing cultures in order to do so. ATLA and LOK provide rep for many cultures, and we need to respect that. 

Also, I will be having mod applications if you would like to apply. More information will be coming.

Bittersweet Beginnings - Chapter 6

Notes: I wrote this much faster than my usual chapters, mainly due to the fact that I’ve started doing sprints. At time of publishing, I already have half of the next chapter written, which is rare for me.

Summary: Avatar Yangchen makes an appearance here!! She helps Aang start to accept the reality. I won’t give too much away, but Aang’s going back to the Air Temples to learn to be a proper monk and learn about his culture a lot more.

There’s also some hints to what caused the rift between Azula and Zuko, and Mai helps kickstart that. In addition, Suki and Zuko have a similar kind of guilt, and that i’ll let you think about.

4 Times Iroh Gave Jasmine Butterflies And The 1 Time He Didn’t

Note: Jasmine is a collective OC me and a few people from a Discord server made. She was Iroh’s wife, who is dead before the events of the show. She was instrumental in Azula learning to be politically savvy, and also plays into a personal headcanon about Lu Ten.

Jasmine, to me, also helped get me into developing lore for the Fire Nation, their customs, history, and politics. I’ll write more about her in my fanfic when I get to some more emotionally charged moments for both Azula and Zuko, so this isn’t the last of her.
