Orbit just gave her a grin and nodded, taking her to the front desk. He’s actually been here more than often, with Blitz. It was one of her favorite places.

He went here enough for the lady who ran the solo business to recognize him.

Oh, hello Orbit, dear!

She gave him a bright smile, before quickly turning towards Rose with a bigger one.

Oh—!! You must be Rose!

Orbit’s face lit up faintly.

Orbit’s talked about you before.

She hummed, taking out a menu and handing it to Rose before facing Orbit.

He's even spoken about her to other people outside of his family?! Rose stared at the lady, this being the second human she's ever spoken to. Or sorta. Because she was so stunned and flustered at being mentioned so much, that she took the menu with a small, shy "hi".

Her face was GLOWING.

She quickly hid behind the menu and took a moment to figure out what she wanted. Again. So many choices. Why did humans have so many things to choose from?!

Rose lowered the menu to peek at the lady.

Do... Do you have anything not sweet? I'd like to try your Ice-Es...

Uh. Wait. She's gotta be extra polite if Orbit knew her well enough to know about her.

The lady just smiled, nudging the menu down and pointed at a section labeled “iced drinks”.

She clasped her hands and leaned against the counter, giving Orbit a knowing look.

So.. if I had known you’d bring her along one day, you shoulda let me known so could have set up the special table!

Orbit immediately slammed his hands down on the counter and let out a flustered mix between a gasp of audacity and an irritated hiss, his face lighting up more.

He growled, making Bella giggle coyly as she tutted.

Orbit’s cheeks warmed, but luckily didn’t glow. His grin was a bit dopey and crooked as he looked down at Rose, moving a hand to brush his palm over her cheek before pulling her in for a hug-ish. Her face only really reached his stomach, but that was fine.. he was strangely okay with her being so close to his core. It was comforting, even.

That’s fair. You’re probably the best thing to have happened to me as well.

He hummed, patting the back of Rose’s head.

She was so glad she was pressed against his core. Rose purred softly, nuzzling into him and wrapping her arms around his waist in a hug.

Her face was instantly warm and Rose couldn't help the giddy way her insides jumped at that. She's so glad to hear that.

She couldn't help but chuckle sheepishly. Gosh she wanted to bite him affectionately but decided against it. Rose lifted her face up, resting the edge of her faceplate against him as she gave him a genuine smile.

That was probably the closest she'll ever get to saying "I love you". And that's okay.

Oh that. Felt really nice.. Orbit continued to pet Rose, smiling crookedly as his expression fell to that of pure relaxation. He could fall asleep like this.. she was light a heating pad, it felt so nice over his core.

He giggled a little, hunching his shoulders before leaning down to wrap his arms under Rose’s arms and lifting her up so her face was pressed into his chest instead. He could properly hug her now, anyways, hopefully she didn’t think anything of it.

I'm done eating for today. Now I'm feeling stuffed. I bet you could shake me and hear all the liquid sloshing on my stomach like a water bottle.

Orbit quietly took the cup and took the top off. He contemplated dumping it on Rose but he decided against it, that’d be a little too much right now.

He turned it over to drop it into his mouth before quickly straightening it, stopping in his tracks. He made the mistake of doing that with an ice-E.. this wasn’t a malt— he decided to just try and drink it normally instead, squinting in frustration when the ice was barely picked up by the straw.

With a small huff he opened his mouth and decided to dig the ice out with his tongue, sticking half of it out to try and scoop the ice up with it while barely tipping it over.

What was he doing? Rose watched him curiously and maybe a little too closely when his tongue came out.

She couldn't help it. It was partially mesmerizing and mostly intriguing. Rose hummed softly as she threaded her hands together and leaned back, stretching her arms over her head.

What a nice day. She hoped they'd have more days like this. Trying new things. Eating new foods. Rose let out a content sigh, stretching her arms a little further back and arching her back a bit.

He hummed, tossing their cups in the trash then fishing for the wallet to stick a ten into the tip jar.

Especially with how reckless I've been with my hunting, I think it's a good thing to leave. Maybe find something not so hazardous with all the debris I still haven't cleaned up.

After a much needed hunt and quick shower, Rose was starting to feel a little better. She changed her clothes for a pair of white fishnet stockings, black shorts and a loose black tank top. Something comfy. And she's always wanted to wear these white stockings. They're so soft.

She patted herself down and noticed that a lot of her clothing doesn't have pockets. A sin by mankind. A flaw. That's fine. Rose crawled past Orbit to grab her hat, reaching in and taking out his star as gently as possible.

She stared at it with contemplation, wondering what to do. For now, she placed it back in her hat with utmost care before placing her hat onto her head. Rose took a moment to sniff her hat.

Hm... It needs to be washed soon.

She looked over at Orbit and crawled over to him, laying down beside him and pressing in as close as possible.

He mumbled, getting them out of the crowd as quickly as he could with a few growls and glares at people before slipping behind a blocked off area where renovations were being done.

Once they were out of sight, he was able to concentrate on getting them out of his dimension to Rose’s room. Once they were firmly on ground, Orbit quickly went over to the nest and sat on his knees, opening the bag and the box eagerly.

There.. half fresh strawberry cheesecake and one slice of peach cheesecake with raspberry drizzle.

That made sense. Rose could definitely understand that. She led as he followed and when they got to the nest, she quickly slid next to him to sit on her rear.

She made a grabby hand motion towards the cake and gingerly took it from him when it was offered and sniffed the slice first.

It looked kinda pretty. Like the other cakes. Rose lolled her tongue out of her mouth to lap up the raspberry drizzle. Her eyes lit up and a rumbling purr made the very metal of her body rattle. Oh, she liked that!! Rose took a bite and once again, her eyes rolled into the back of her head as she let out another, more obscene, sound.
