Design Fiction
This has been a project I’ve had a lot of fun creating. I really enjoyed creating all the hand drawn illustrated elements with procreate on my iPad and I’m super happy my final outcome.

A little mock up animation needs work!
My final design fiction layout 🍃
Slowly but surely getting there.
Sketching design fiction layout ideas!
Digital easel sketches
Still trying to decide on what idea to go ahead with I’m doing further research to make the decision.
Inspiring places in Glasgow 💛
Trying to visualise my other idea the digital easels! I’m having fun playing around with sketching and trying to find different ways for it to look and the ui/ux of the interface.
Initial sketches of one of my design fiction ideas
1. Having a almost greenhouse effect with glass that could fade to black once someone’s inside powered by solar panels. A bench surrounding the strucure along with usb plug in’s by the benches for charging and WiFi hub for the park. The console will give the user an option of Day at the Grove or Night at the Grove.
2. Similar inside mechanics but outside the dome will be covered in fauna to suck in Co2 emissions as the park is situated by a busy duel carriageway/motorway also with a light giving people who do walk through the park on later hours can see it/have a light as the park itself hasnt got many. It’ll have several benches surrounding it with USB plug in’s attached.
3. Is mostly a different shape giving the user two screens the planterium screen up top and the information screen surrounding them. It’ll also have plants down the sides of it on the outside with block benches and WiFi. Also a huge light on the top of the structure.

Researching more into planetariums and the night sky! As it’s fast approaching the main idea for my Design Fiction.

Chromatic Sound Modifying Sculptures
Looking into this interactive playground type idea where the combination of art and play can combine to create a wonderful place for children to explore. Yuri Suzuki uses powder coated steel and shapes it as snaking pipes, dishes and horns.” The cheerfully chormatic designs totals in six unique sculptures. With the Sonic Playground project, the creative is able to foster “an unexpected and unusual audio experience” that strongly depends on the position of the person who is listening or speaking

Smart oasis is currently being used in Dubai. It creates water from the air surrounding giving passers-by free water to drink. It’s completely self-sufficient running off of solar energy. I love this so much, the use of nature to create something so innovative interests me so much!

Bhubaneswar in 2018 was a first of its kind public art event which really caught my eye. Temple City in Bhubaneswar organised innovative Smart Park Art Work to foster public art and community participation in the parks. This day-long event took place while the redevelopment of the BDA (smart oak) in Saheed Nagar area from 6am till 10pm. It featured graffiti walls, amphitheatre and dedicated spaces for community gardening.
I like the idea of it being art is therapy and it’s calming which this project really ran with. I also love the sense of community.
