Whatcha doing?”
“I’m not going to AA. They can’t make me.”
“It grows on you.”
“I don’t know if I’ll stay, but I will enjoy my time here.”
“I get to work and remove my fucking clothes, not one cares when it was made or who made it you uppety bitch.” Alexis snapped, pulling her lipstick out her bag, this girl reminding her of people she used to be surrounded by at home.
Taylor was taken back by the snap. “Sorry to have upset you,’ she gritted, trying to smile. “So, you’re a stripper?”She asked. She stopped and thought for a moment. “I’ve never designed stripper couture before...” She said to herself. “Would you being willing to model a for it if I designed something? I’ll warn you, couture is neither practical or normal. But I’ve already get some great ideas that could be fun to try out!” She said eagerly.
“Nobody ever expects this. Cute? Did you really just call it cute?” Vannah laughs, shaking her head.
“I’ve been all around the world. Rome Paris, Milan.. they’re beautiful places. This is cute though. It’s much more quiet and not as alive. It’s refreshing almost.”
“Well you know, home sweet home.”
“I don’t know if I’ll call it home. But it’s somewhere nice to stay while deciding where to go next.” She explained with a shrug. “I’m Taylor. Taylor Autumn.”
“Oh my gosh thank you! It’s my boss is like super hot and you know gotta make a good impression. I’m Millie by the way.”
“I’m Taylor.” She replied with a smile. “You’ll find I believe fashion is to be taken very serious. “She said, as she skimmed through her things. “Here it is!” She sang out, pulling out a knee-length black dress. The sleeves were shoulders length and the collar was a grey material that remembered a doily. “I didn’t design this one, but I love the the man who did. He’s a great friend of mine. Met him in France a few years ago. He adores my work and pretty much asks to collaborate at least twice a year,” she explained. “I love this one by him. it’s so simple and timeless. A little ready-to-wear, but still beautiful. It also comes with an overcoat. It’s very professional, yet a little sexy.” She pulled out the coat and pointed to the waist line, “This was pretty much made for you. You’ve got the shape for it. Also, anyone who knows anything about fashion, will notice this deisgn right away. As ready-to-wear as it looks, it’s got his signature collar and the way he pulls in the waist line really sticks out compared to most designers. You’ll look great and fashion forward.”
“Hey! It’s you! I know you!”
“Tom!” Taylor creid out, running over. “It’s been so long! How are ou? How’s the circus? Are you guys still loving the costumes? Do they an update?”
“Oh?” Yevette said with a raised eyebrow. “I’m slightly surprised. Only slightly. If it’s for practical use, it needs to be easily removed.”
“I think that can be done,” Taylor purred. “I didn’t make it to Fashion Week 3 years in a row for nothing.” She smiled. “I’ll start some sketching, maybe make up a few mock-ups. Start playing with some different fabrics. I think I could make something amazing to go with these.”
It sucks trying to find a decent first day of work outfit when you have no clothes or money.
You sure as hell can’t wear that! Come with me, you borrow something from me. I have a work dress from 2013, but it’s still relevant, you know? Those Italian designers know how to make a dress seem ageless.”
“Look, I still have to do my make up before I head off to work. Did you want something important or are you just staring?”
“You’re not going to wear that, are you?” Taylor asked, checking the seem-line. “I mean, its cute but the craft is so low. Also, this is a total rip off something I was in Paris like 3 years ago.” The babbled on. “I mean, ready-to-wear designers are never in it to be creative, they’re more interested in selling the same design with their own twist. This is still cute, but the shoulders are all wrong...”
“Oh so this is Salem? Not exactly what I expected, but it’s cute.”
“Do you know who used these?” Yevette asks as she played with the plumes. “Sally Rand. She would dance around, completely naked, with these two plumes covering her body. And even though you knew she was completely naked, you never once saw anything. She was arrested often because of ‘indecent exposure’ but people kept bailing her out because she drew attention. Keep in mind this is the 1930s and this sort of thing was heavily frowned upon. Still is today, just not as badly.” Yevette smiles. “Anyways, She also did a bubble dance to adapt to dancing outdoors. She later bought and owned a Burlesque hall.” She begins dancing in the Fan Dance fashion.
“I love them! They’re beautiful!” Taylor squeake. The fashion designer got up to get a better look. “You know,’ she began, glancing up at Yevette, “a year ago I started a Burlesque collection. I never finished it, but I would love to design a piece that goes with these fans.” She watched the fans once more, and the added, “Something that would be both sexy but not revealing. Something that would compliment the fans, without taking away from them.”
Taylor Autumn is a 20 year old resident of Salem, who contributes to the town by being a Fashion Designer. Unfortunately for her, she declined the offer to become a minion and has been told they look like the celebrity Emma Roberts.

“I was raised up to admired, to be noticed.”
Taylor was born into the fast and crazy life of New York City. Her father, a world class business man, seemed to never be home, and without a mother, Taylor grew up alone. Taylor was a gifted girl, though. She was destined to be a great fashion designer. From a young age, she was entering competitions and beating some of the best names the country had to offer. Even with all the fans and designers applauding her, her father never once even called her.
Taylor made her way by designing for Coco Chanel, Lady Gaga, H&M, so on and so forth. From high fashion, to couture, to ready where; everyone was dying to get something designed by the young prodigy. Fashion magazines and fashion annalists said Taylor was the one who saved fashion and expected she would bring it back to its former glory days. In the midst of this, Taylor met Leo. Leo was an Italian poet. It was almost like a movie: the two met on the coast of Capri and by the end of the two married in southern France. Taylor’s life was perfect. She was successful, in love, and the fashion world loved the couple.
It all fell apart though. Not even a year after their marriage, the two were off to France for Fashion Week. Taylor has several designs and everyone was dying to see the young couple. On their way there, their limo was t-bones by a truck. Leo did not live. The accident ruined Taylor. She was a wreck for weeks, refusing to leave her house.
It’s been over a year since the accident and Taylor is still trying to get over it. She developed a drinking problem. The fashion world has almost given up on her return, some Italian fashion magazines went to say fashion died with Leo. Taylor’s father finally returned. Embarrassed by his daughter’s increased partying and drinking, he’s sent her to Salem for rehab. He hopes she will pull herself together and “get over this” and “stop disgracing the Autumn name” with her behavior.

“I’m faking glory. Lick my lips, toss my hair.”
Even though Taylor has been admitted to rehab, her father doesn’t want anyone to know. Taylor claims she has come to Salem to get away from the city and clear her head, so she can return to fashion designing.
Taylor has been pretending she’s been doing fine, not wanting anyone to know how much it still hurts. She would rather play pretend than let anyone else in.
Even though it was the truck driver’s fault for not paying attention, Taylor blames herself. She insisted they leave early. If they left when she were supposed to, Leo might still be alive.

“Its not about who you are, its about who you know.”
Grew up with Emerson and Remy.
Designed ballet costumes for Auden. After Auden’s parents divorced, she started designing for Auden for free. She knew others would be jealous and ask for Taylor to design for them as well.
Designed costumes for Tom and the circus. Loved mixing high fashion with circle wear.
Is very interested in Noella, but is afraid she can actually speak to spirits. She doesn’t want to know if she can contact Leo.
Parties with Carissa.
