some of these are really silly while the others are just depressing so be warned
peter müller
peter was in elementary school with arvid
he was in kindergarten with emil
his favorite food is plain chicken with potatoes with salt (arvid thinks its the funniest thing ever)
every time arvid and thomas are arguing, they end up asking peter which one of them is in the right (he often just answers with “listen guys, we can find a compromise..” while awkwardly smiling at both of them)
he met thomas at the music shop and they immediately hit it off
he’s bisexual and tries to hide it from his friends
thomas forced him to start learning how to drive
before going to his last swing dance, he thought about confessing his love to thomas but figured that he wouldn’t understand being gay
he was abused in the concentration camp and was eventually murdered, he didn’t make it out
but he died knowing that he stood up for what he believed was right
he also died thinking that thomas left the HJ to live his best life
so he died thinking that thomas was straight
he just couldn’t hate thomas even though he was an asshole
he found thomas when he first attempted

the first time he attempted was when he couldnt stand liking other men

he felt intense guilt over arvids death and tried escaping it by putting none of the blame on the only thing he had, which was the HJ
his favorite food is hamburg steak served between bread even though he could have anything else (because hes rich) ——> arvid makes fun of him for it
thomas is extremely petty and holds grudges
he’s also really insecure being the reason he gets so easily persuaded by the HJ
his third attempt was after peter left him by getting taken to a concentration camp, he couldn’t bare the feeling of not knowing what they’d do to him
he overworks himself to the point where he throws up because he doesn’t believe that he’s worthy of feeling good
he had a phase where he tried liking women but he ended up hurting all of their feelings and was labeled a “fuck boy”
he tells peter about his hookups with various women but fails to see that he’s extremely jealous
he directly talked to otto like 7 times in their whole friendship and kinda disliked emil from the start
he can’t drive a fucking car
he regretted reporting his father deeply, and his mother resented him for it too, making it incredibly tense at home
he died in war and wrote a goodbye letter to peter, thinking that he’d make it out the concentration camp alive
he died from blood loss

he started resenting his parents for leaving him, which was the perfect time for the nawzis to step in
the HJ became his home
when he entered the HJ he got a letter from arvid that he didn’t read, but he put it in his pocket, wanting to burn it later, which he forget
he started hating his old friends, especially arvid, because of their past together
when he was at the front, against other nations, when on his last breaths, he struggled to find anything useful in his pockets— but a letter from arvid
the last thing he saw before dying was arvids letter, where he begged him to change his mind about everything
the letter contained the picture of otto, peter, thomas, arvid and him together and emil clutched it while taking his last breath
he died believing that his parents hated him
