(Going around the fandom and asking everyone this) What is your favorite 1988 interaction/moment?

I love that you’re doing this, and I have so many top moments. But here are my top 5 because I have too hard of a time doing just 1.

Hands down it is their epic and ridiculous nudging during the visit to the White House throughout Obama’s speech. If you have not seen the full video, here it is. What I love about it is how incredibly playful they are with each other in the most subtle ways possible here. It’s truly glorious!

This entire video, especially the bit where Jonny specifically motions, literally explicitly asks Patrick to pour beer in his mouth. And how Patrick makes a whole show of doing it. 1988 being douchey frat bros at their finest.

The story about their shared adjoining hotel room door (link here). Because it’s the story that launched a thousand fics about how much they missed each other after the lockout ended and got rid of roommates. I wish we still had the original vid for this but alas!

Their silly little dance-offs at the 2013 and 2014 conventions.

This video of them at a concert with the 2010 cup team being the handsiest bros there ever were.

I mean, I could really go on forever tbh cause I have so many favourite moments. But 5 seems like a good stopping point before I lose all my cool and write a 10 page essay on 1988’s interactions and how their dynamic has evolved over the years.
