The deluxe edition removes the narrative of the killjoys and the pirate radio broadcasts from KIL 109 XFM

Across the three different versions, the covers become increasingly distressed and distorted, with artefacts such as streaking and fuzz/blur that typically come from copying something repeatedly, the art degrading in the process

I know there are real-world reasons to remove Dr Death Defying, but in-universe, my theory is that BLI are performing recuperation to sell an acceptable outlet of rebellion that’s still under their control, similar to how prides can be made into a depoliticised party for pinkwashing, or how punk can be made into a watered down aesthetic with a uniform you can buy from big box stores donating to Trump

If you visit the Tate Modern with a draculoid mask between gigs, security won’t let you take it into the galleries and you’ll have to fill out a form saying “1 DRACULA MASK” is being taken from you for safe keeping

P.S. has anyone with a cardboard gun from the new Danger Days records scanned them and uploaded them anywhere? I’d love to print some out DIY and make a template so people can design their own. If not, how much would I have to paypal someone to do it please?

Hmm what is your favorite piece of obscure danger days trivia?

Ooh, good question. I thought this obscure interview where Gerard talked about the meaning behind the bad luck beads was really interesting. I also love this picture of Steve Montano on the set of the video shoot. I have no idea where it came from, I’ve only been able to trace it back to a fan site (which probably wasn’t the original source.)

Also, I feel like a lot of people don’t know about the inspiration room that we’ve only gotten a couple of brief glimpses of. The band's photoshoot with "INROCK" magazine had pictures of concept art and models that we've never seen before or since.

And then there’s all the weird obscure photos of MCR in Japan...still have no idea where most of these came from. I found most of them on a Japanese fan blog, but I’m not sure if that’s the original source or not.
