Further to this. It’s likely that I wont be on here in any real form again. If I ever find time to rp again it will be a different muse. But I love Jugram and I love the stories here, so I’ll never delete. Anyway before I log off here again for another indeterminate period, I just wanted to send some love to everyone. I know there are some strained times happening for mutuals. I’m proud of you all. Take care of yourselves. ♡ ghost (p.s. you can probably catch me on my personal blog if you feel that way inclined.)

Sets a tiny carved deer on Veit's bedside table as the boy sleeps, looking forward to the child's reaction on finding it in the morning.

–and what a reaction it is.

Deer have always been Jugram’s thing, so it doesn’t take the young Prince very long to work things out the moment he wakes (ignoring, of course, that not just anyone would have been allowed into his room to begin with). After an initial, excited moment of hopping from foot to foot in front of his bedside table, Veit scoops up the deer and dashes out of his room at full speed, down to Jugram’s own room.

He lets himself in without so much as announcing it, running up to Jugram’s bed and, clutching tightly onto the back of the deer, lets it hop up and down the Grandmaster’s side without any care for whether or not he was waking him up or not.

“Juu-uuu…”

Veit clambers into bed to sit at Jugram’s side after the exclamation, continuing the deer’s little trek shortly thereafter.

“Look, look – it has to go veeeery far in order to find a way home!” Up hops the deer, over the curve of Jugram’s shoulder. “It’s reeeeally hungry.” He tilts the deer, brows furrowed indignantly, a proud smile on his face, and pretends that the deer is grazing on Jugram’s hair. “–hah!”

Veit sets the deer down in front of Jugram’s face and promptly claps his hands together proudly.

“It made it!”
