now that i think about it, how does the demogorgon coexist with the other killers?  all the other killers are or were people.  they are or were human beings with humanity.  the demogorgon is a monster.  it’s a monster that only knows survival.  it doesn’t know friendship, it doesn’t know enemies. it knows food.  it knows defense.  it knows territory.  

a demogorgon wouldn’t care to treat a killer any different than a survivor.  

there’s more than likely boundaries set by the entity for this sort of thing.  the entity knows not all killers will get along.  it also knows it brought a bloodthirsty being into the fog.  

i’m still thinking up exactly what the entity does to keep the demogoron in line.  if it keeps the demogorgon in line.  it might just let it kill whoever – they’ll only be brought back to life anyway.

IT DIDN’T LIKE THE FLASH OF THE LIGHT, the loud bang that sounded with the gunshot.   it especially didn’t like the near brush of the bullet that flew past it.  the demogorgon let out a loud, harsh scream as it turned towards the being who caused the gunfire.    long fingers curled and flexed, it’s entire body ready to attack.

it prepared for the pounce, rearing back on all fours.  all that gunshot did was anger it.  it’s face fluttered, almost equivalent to grinding one’s jaw.  this wasn’t a hunt for food. this was self defense.  this was survival.  and so it leapt, another screech leaving it.

THIS PLACE WASN’T UNFAMILIAR TO IT. it hadn’t been there before, however it’s seen it, smelt it, felt it once before.  the exploration of the terrain was in search of something to satisfy its hunger and it knew the wooded area held plenty to eat.  the monster had emerged from a portal on the ground, sentient vines reaching across the entrance to keep it hidden as it emerged.  

a soft yet eerie chirp sounded from the creature, an attempt to locate nearby prey.  sometimes it would get a response.  other times it’ll startle something, allowing the monster to track it down.  

a snap of a twig caught its attention, faceless head turning sharply as it observes the area, the direction the sound came from.  it repeats the same chirp before stalking silently towards the source.

She had been roller-blading around at night, it was what she did. It was the only time she had to actually feed on something.

In the distance she had heard a noise. It started out as leaves crunching under feet which wasn’t unusual but then she heard something else, an interesting roar of some kind and she decided to check it out. Venturing further down, she was lead into a forest area and few feet away was a wounded animal but that wasn’t all that was there.

This thing, whatever the fuck it was, was a humanoid type creature with long limbs and no face, just a mouth in the shape of a rosebud and when it opened it, it looked like a flower with many rows of sharp teeth. “Okay, you know, I was going to eat something else tonight but…” The red head shrugged her small shoulders. “You’ll just have to do for now.”

THE CREATURE HAD NOT EXPECTED to be approached.  it hadn’t expected to be detected, still and hidden in the darkness, surrounded by shrubbery.  but that didn’t deter it; it crouched, face opening, ready to pounce.  it hungered and being discovered merely pushed it to get its meal.  

it did not care about the sounds coming from the other’s mouth.  they made no sense to it, nor did they matter.  the flaps of it’s mouth twitch, flickering before it’s face opens, a spine chilling screech sounding from its core before leaping, pouncing onto the smaller being.
