Why do you say you’re descended from indigenous people but not indigenous yourself? Having distant ancestors who may have been indigenous does not make you indigenous or give you a right to speak for us.

If you are indigenous, which group(s) do you belong to? Does that give you a right to speak for the Massachusett people, who it looks like were largely wiped out by genocide, disease, and forced conversion by the ancestors of those who now mock them?

Who elected you to speak for all of us and decide what is and isn’t okay for white people to continuously shit on as we still suffer beneath colonization?

My wife is a white woman and we must cancel her because she’s upset that Indian and black women are pressured within our communities to lighten our skin due to colorism.

If you see people suffering because of another marginalized person’s bigotry, you should just say, “Well, that doesn’t affect me so I will happily interact with the bigot and never lift up the voices of those being harmed :))).”
