I just figured out the ending of Game of Thrones. Holy crap it’s all coming to me now. Do you remember back in season one, Robert asked Cersei “What’s stronger? 1 or 5?” And she said “Five.” Then he made a fist and said “One. One unified force.”

It’s going to end with the throne being destroyed and a council ruling the kingdom. One person from each house, together as a force. Because evil isn’t some big bad monster, it’s us. The war of men is what created the Night King to begin with. The only way to break this wheel is to get rid of the throne all together.
