Malice Mizer - Gekka no Yasōkyoku 1998
"Gekka no Yasōkyoku" ("Nocturne in the Moonlight") is the fifth single by Japanese visual kei rockband Malice Mizer, released on February 11, 1998. It reached number 11 on the Oricon Singles Chart, selling 168,090 copies, becoming the band's best-selling single, and was certified Gold by the RIAJ. It was the third single released from the Merveilles album. Merveilles is the band's only album on a major record label, their most commercially successful, reaching number two on the Oricon Albums Chart, as well as their last with second vocalist Gackt.
"Gekka no Yasōkyoku" was composed by Közi, one of the band's guitarists. On Közi's request, Coba recorded the accordion part of the song. The song's lyrics, written by Gackt, tell a fairy tale-like story of two lovers whose souls were trapped in dolls. While performing the song, guitarists Mana and Közi would leave their instruments behind and enact a dance routine. It was used as an ending theme for the TBS Television show Egawa no Shokutaku in 1998, and also served as an ending theme for Winning Keiba in December 2023.
"Gekka no Yasōkyoku" received a total of 64,6% yes votes! Previous Gackt polls: #282 "Vanilla", #636 "Lust for Blood".

Hm. Interesting. Apparently cortisol production depletes magnesium stores. And I have a lot of symptomatic overlap with magnesium deficiency. And it can apparently help migraine. And ADHD. I think I'm going to try supplementing magnesium glycinate. L-threonate sounds really interesting too as that's magnesium that can cross the blood-brain barrier and apparently is super useful for memory and shit.
this can't keep happening
