Have you ever known someone who struggled with alcohol or drug use? In today’s modern society, it can be difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle and follow traditional values.
Thankfully, for Detroit residents, The American Indian Health and Family Services (AIHFS) has created a program to promote cultural values and safe, healthy living.
‘Wellbriety’ is the philosophy of living sober and living well.
AIHFS holds weekly Wellbriety meetings that offers support to anyone, regardless of age or race, who has struggled with these issues. The virtues of the group include hope, healing, unity, and forgiveness. The meetings are held in a safe place with supportive staff members who can assist you in your journey.
Please take a few minutes out of your day to learn more about Wellbriety, and share the information with anyone who may benefit from it. Everyone is welcome to attend.
