“Now do me a favor and die” is such a powerful statement.
i'll never be fully offline because online is where the awesome women thinkers from around the world congregate to share little details about their days and what they're interested in

Genocide flattens every discussion. There are no new conversations to be had about the destruction, death and cruelty. After more than a year, there is nothing left to be said about various media houses, corporations and international bodies of law aiding and abetting all that has been happening in Gaza, either. It is the banality of evil, it is colonialism. However even in this atrociously banal circumstance, I do think what still is a continued point of hope for Gazans and what still pushes so many of them to reach out to the world, is the support people around the globe have shown and still continue to show. Which is why I am here on behalf of the Shehab family ( @fahedshehab-new ) and requesting you to help them survive through this winter. This won't take much of your time so please read:
Fahed is currently supporting 13 family members in total- his own family and that of his sister’s.
He has to look after 8 children now, with the youngest being his son Yayha who is barely having anything to eat because the price of baby milk is exorbitantly high in Gaza.
The genocide has taken a toll on Fahed’s daughters. Sahar and Dana spent a whole year under the threat of bombs and right now instead of getting to be teenagers, they ask their father if they will survive. They have even said they don't want to live if they lose someone.
The family right now immediately needs clothes to keep them warm throughout winter. Fahed’s family is from the north and has been displaced several times before they came south. Displacement is dangerous and a silent killer because often essential items are lost and cannot be replaced in time.
Please consider that the weather has already turned colder around the world and that which is only mildly uncomfortable to us, presents a dire situation for Gazans. The families don't have a shelter and there is no way for tents to adequately protect from cold winds and rain. So right now the immediate need is for warm clothes and it can cost upto $400 per person. With THIRTEEN PEOPLE to take care of Fahed immediately needs to raise at least 5k to buy the required apparels. So please boost and donate.
Currently at $66,248. He needs to reach $71,248. Please help however you can.
My name is Sahar Shehab. I am 14 years old from Gaza . I ask you for urgent h… Ahmed Shamia needs your support for Help Sahar and Her Famil
Vetting link
Please remember that every donation, even if it is 5 dollars, is a ray of hope for the families who have lost everything.
Currently at $66,869. Only $631 away to 67.5k
Please my friends help me purchase winter clothes for my family. We urgently need to buy essential clothing for 13 people. This is my request to you. Do not leave me alone
Please help Sahar and her family by donating and/or sharing the above fundraiser. They are so close to their goal!
im really in a bad place i hope the sun doesnt start setting crazy early at like 4pm. i said i hope the sun doesnt set early at like 4pm that would be bad for me
if you're feeling powerless right now—and god knows I am—here's a reminder you can donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds, the Trans Law Center, Gaza Soup Kitchen, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and hundreds of other charities that will work to mitigate the damage that has been and will continue to be inflicted
life continues. we still have the capacity to do good, important work. that matters
sometimes you just have to let yourself be a bit neurodivergent.
i hate going out, it gives me a lot of anxiety and sensory input that i dont like, and i am often forced to talk to people.
so i do this thing on more difficult days, or sometimes just for fun, where i "bring a fictional character with me". i walk and imagine Fictional Character walking next to me. they talk to me, reassure me, hype me up, whatever i need them to do.
today dean winchester came christmas shopping with me. he went over the list with me of stuff i needed to get, told me i was doing a good job every time i finished in a certain shop, reminded me to take a deep breath when i got a little overwhelmed.
and yea. its kinda silly. and i know its just me talking to myself in a different voice, but it Works! especially since all of my special interests/hyperfixations tend to be tv/movie related.
so do what you gotta do to Get Shit Done. stop holding yourself to neurotypical standards. if you need Fictional Character to tell you you're doing a good job, do it! if you need Favourite Singer to walk you to school, do it! yea it might feel silly but you're literally fighting against your own brain to get stuff done every single day. you can have a little self indulgent daydream, as a treat.

the worst part about a migraine is that it is BORING
This is the best idea I've ever heard in my life.
is this what it was like in 9/11. trying to reason with people whose entire concept of human decency flies out the window when presented with the possibility of causing the smallest amount of harm to a "terrorist", no collateral damage is too large, no civilian too innocent, no connection too murky for people to deserve to die or be permanently crippled. people citing world war two urban warfare statistics to try to make a bad situation seem less worse and not balking at how fascist they sound
Americans are obsessed with punishment to an insane degree. people DESERVE to die if they support on hezbollah or hamas, regardless of whether their actions bring harm to anyone. if you're a nurse or a courier or a fucking security guard in a place where the only political entity in the region has been designated a terrorist organization by the United States your life is forfeited. if your child or wife or siblings happened to be mutilated it's your fault for existing. collective punishment and collective responsibility only exists for third world nations.
if you plant bombs in equipment you know with a high degree of certainty will enter civilian hands and be used around civilians, and you kill them or seriously maim them, this isn't terrorism, only Arabs commit terrorism
Post-ts fem Sanji gets the long hair treatment too
anyone else destroying and betraying themselves for nothing 🤣
