Attention ladies and gents
So after my (Judy's) billionth re-run of How I Met Your Mother, I came to the conclusion, that maybe - just maybe idek - you could think that what Klaus said to Ted was actual German. In fact nobody I know, and I know quite many people, ever in their entire life said "Lebenslanger Schicksalsschatz". Most of them who watched the show ad to listen to that saying plenty of time, in order to understand what Klaus was actually trying to say. Like.. it's not even a proper word of usage. I mean it could be that some poet said that like 3 decades back, but honestly, nobody says that anymore. So no matter how well the actor got that accent and pronunciation, the authors of the show just didn't bother to use proper German words..
