While in combat, Axel performs their signature talent, Axe Kick, by leaping into the air, dropping their furious foot to immobilize enemies. Although they resemble a minotaur of mythology, notably their story stays when Axel joins the heroic team of monsters known as The Pantheon.

Atlas Entry: Resting high in mountain terrain, the Heavy Hide Vistawing seeks solitude, making nests away from other monsters. Unlike its jovial form, Vistawing, this flying tank is upgraded with fortified armour scales and hooked talons useful for scaling its rugged habitat. It’s more sluggish, preferring to crawl rather than fly. Nearby accounts of rockslides are attributed to the slamming of its mace tail against the mountains; believed to be an intimidation technique, few have gotten close enough surviving the experience to confirm.

Atlas Entry: An undersea warrior, dedicated to protecting its home and sea domain. Any observations thus far come through Riptyde battling, defending its ground from potential intruders. It spends much of its time guarding the underwater kingdom of “Loveiathans Ruin”. Riptype utilizes a forked fishing spear to keep enemies at bay; approach too close and you’ll feel its piercing impact. Seek to collect the Materia, Fin, Shell or Aqua attributes, and a proficient Caster may then summon Riptype as an obedient sentry in any conflict on land or sea.
