When the water was turned off, Vivian soon came out and made her way into the bedroom clad in only a fresh fluffy towel, oblivious that a stranger was in the room along with her (indeed, why would she have reason so suspect such a thing?), and let the towel drop before beginning to get dressed. As soon as she went to reach for her clothing ... there Sombra was, sprawled out across the mattress like a lazy feline.“Welcome home, cariña ... Busy day...?”, she purred nonchalantly, taking in the other woman’s stupefied expression with no small measure of amusement.Seemingly oblivious to the woman’s shock (and possible annoyance) at the unexpected visit, Sombra crawled her way across the bed like a wildcat stalking prey ... until her face was level with the woman’s hips. Dragging her bottom lip against her inner thigh, she murmured in a more heated hungry tone, “Shhhhh ... no more words, querida...”And then her tongue dragged across the woman’s slit in one long slow pass ... before repeating the motion more firmly, tip of her tongue vanishing between Vivian’s folds as it caressed across the delicate pink nub tucked within.

Amethyst eyes regarded him with intense focus, taking note of the presence of the LED and its shift in color. “Easy, now, mijo ... we wouldn’t want anyone getting hurt because of some misunderstanding, mm...?” Her gaze narrowed ever so slightly. “If we drop our weapons, nice and slow, I can tell you all about my little ‘toy’. There was NO way I could let this just disappear unseen into the notes, with as huge an impact as this made on me. This straight up made me cry--but in the good way. I know I’ve already said this in our IMs, but truly and deeply--thank you. I was truly feeling awful about making this anon feel that way and was gonna kinda lose myself in the self-loathing of that gnawing guilt, if left to my own devices. This ... was sobering. I still feel bad, obviously, but you’re 200% right. A real friend would do this directly rather than leave me with the mystery of never knowing what friend I lost and who I hurt. So thank you for being precious and special and awesome. I truly expected the post to just float by the dash and not really be noticed or commented on my anyone. Was just clearing the air, feeling like I was gonna be talking into a void. This was a VERY welcomed surprise. <3

I honestly debated whether or not to answer this ... because I try to keep serious/drama-related things off my blogs, because I know it makes a lot of people really uncomfortable. I actively work to keep my not-okay moments off of here, which is why you also don’t see me make anything that vents about what I’m feeling at the time. Not a single bit of offense intended towards those that do, tho! Please, by all means, use your blog as your safe space to express when you’re feeling bad! I just don’t feel comfortable doing on my own blogs, that’s all.BUT ... the fact that this person felt this way truly and deeply makes me fear there are other people here that I used to talk/write with that might feel similarly, and it deserves to be properly addressed. So here goes.

Lemme start by saying how truly and deeply sorry that I am that my actions have caused you to feel unwanted and not cared about. I PROMISE that was never my intention. I know words are cheap and you probably won’t even read this, if you don’t want anything else to do with me ... but there are reasons. Not EXCUSES, mind you ... but reasons.I suffer from anxiety and depression, for starters. Big whoop, lots of people do without vanishing on their friends. I know ... but I easily get overwhelmed with social interactions. I have .... a LOT of online friends. Largely because I’m sporadically active across lots of other games and communities. I have an EXTREMELY hard time staying focused upon a single ... anything. Project, game, character ... any of that. If I had a dollar for the number of things I’ve started and never finished, I could buy beachside property in Malibu. And that contributes to the friend list bloat--because while I’m in it, I gravitate towards like-minded people. I WANT to engage. I WANT to be involved and make connections, and I ALWAYS try and tell myself that I’m going to stick around and not fizzle out or get burned out and stressed ... but I always inevitably do. And I ... DON’T know how to explain that to people, in a way that isn’t going to hurt feelings and cause confrontations. When it’s with people I genuinely like and care about, confrontation TERRIFIES me. Some random asshole? I’ll verbally fight them for days. But the prospect of entering a conversation with someone I care about that could end badly...? It’s paralyzing. Now multiply that another 100+ times, because these people that matter to me are spread out across multiple games and social media. There’s a reason why I stay invisible/appear offline on the majority of games and IM programs--to funnel and control the amount of interaction I get.Look. I’m a coward. I cave under pressure. Even under the BEST of circumstances. I have the emotional fortitude of wet tissue paper. But if there’s any sort of bad situation going on in my offline life at the same time...? And it gets a MILLION times worse. Just to put some of my 7-month hiatus on here into context ... in that time I’ve gotten 4 tooth extractions (each at a clinic an hour’s drive away from home, and 2 of those extractions had complicated recoveries), one of our cats suffered a stroke (for the first several weeks after, he couldn’t even move or feed himself--he needed around-the-clock help with just about everything, and then later on helping him relearn HOW to walk again).A normal/healthy/rational person would find the stones to just stand up and EXPLAIN all this stuff rather than just ... disappearing. Especially when it only looks as though I’m active someone else, which I could easily see giving the impression of being avoided/ignored, without some kind of explanation. I know it’s probably hollow and meaningless, but there’s never a SHRED of intentional avoidance of specific people. Even people in my offline life suffer the effects of it, as there are friends that don’t hear from my for months at a time. I’m just truly and deeply terrible at communicating when I have to pull away from a community, in a way that doesn’t make me seem like an uncaring asshole. But I guess even without doing/saying anything at all ... people assume I’m an uncaring asshole.So ... that’s the long and the (not-so-very) short of it, I guess. This has probably been nothing but a big ranty heap of excuse-sounding nonsense, but this is the first time I’ve sat down and actually, like ... tried to explain to anyone why I do what I do. I’m sorry, just ... I’m REALLY sorry. Ramble over now.

@androidwithangerissues -- Days of following, watching, and waiting were finally about to pay off. This was her third stakeout of this RK-series model’s home, though she’d been tailing him as he went about his other businesses even before then. It struck her as intensely odd that a program-bound android would have its own personal residence, rather than merely existing at its place of work. Or even returning to Cyberlife HQ. This was usually deviant behavior, as it was far more human. Was the RK900 model even susceptible to deviancy? She hadn’t the slightest clue. These 900s were new and unfamiliar, and that simply wouldn’t do for Sombra’s line of work. Especially if the RK900 were as big a threat to deviants as the RK800 was. Knowledge was power--power she didn’t currently have over this situation. She would rectify that soon. Prowling her way through the dark with her back pressed flush against the outside wall of the building, she did her best to maintain visual contact with her quarry whenever she moved past a window. At each she would test as quietly as possible to see if it might be unlocked ... but no luck. Until she tried the window of the bedroom, that is. One careless mistake was her ticket in. Sliding the window pane open as silently as she possibly could, she ever so carefully crawled through the open space, amethyst eyes adjusting to the change in lighting. There was something strangely nostalgic about breaking and entering the ‘low-tech’ and old-fashioned way, rather than bypassing security systems and locking mechanisms. Took her back to her youth, in the early days of her criminal career. Ah, memories. But enough reminiscing. She had some curiosity to satisfy. From what she was able to see as she made her way around the building, he was still somewhere between the kitchen and living room. Carefully peeking out from around the edge of the half-open doorway, she had a clear line of sight with the 900′s back. Perfect. Wait ... was he ... drinking?! How was that even possible for an android? And what possible useful function was that to an investigative tool, as Cyberlife intended the RK-series to be? Oh, now she had to learn more. This just kept getting stranger and stranger. As she slid further out into the open, her stance changed from silent stalker ... to over-confident uninvited guest as she nonchalantly hoisted herself up onto the kitchen counter and sat herself done. “Well, well ... an RK-series android living in its own house ... and able to have itself a cozy little nightcap--what will Cyberlife dream up next, mm?”

“Can do.” Quick eyes scanned each truck as they hid behind and moved past them, until finally … halfway down the lot … there it was–CL24-052-07. She motioned towards it with a tilt of her chin. “There. That’s it. Now we just need t–” Sombra’s head immediately snapped sharply to the right at the sound of the electric warehouse door opening. “Carajo!”, she hissed between clenched teeth. Looks like the clock was going to move quite a bit faster than first thought. “What the fuck are they doing?!” She sighed hard in frustration. “Alright, gimme a sec…” This called for some creative improvisation, to ensure they had the required amount of time to get in, get the goods, and get out. A frown of concentration creased her brow as her android hand reached out towards one of the trucks several feet across from their position, a spidery network of violet-hued lines skittered across the entirety of the vehicle for a brief moment before all of the LED’s across the truck began to wildly malfunction. Error alarms blared and all its doors and windows randomly opened and closed, easily drawing the attention of the human workers. “Aww, man, the fuck is this shit?!”, one of them wailed in frustration. “God-damnit, get the repair ‘droid out here.” A small smirk of satisfaction tugged at the corner of Sombra’s lips. “There. I just bought us at least another ten minutes. Not as much as we were supposed to have, but … we can wing it. Let’s move, mija.”

North looked in the direction Sombra was looking, already moving to head towards it, impatient to get the job over and done with and get as much as they could back to Jericho. The other woman’s curse gave her pause just in time, though, ducking down quickly again at the sound of the warehouse door opening with a loud whirring. “Why the hell are they starting early?” She growled under her breath - if there was one thing she thought they could rely on in this, it would have been the laziness of the human workers being on their side.

She looked to Sombra, frowning in confusion at her command as she hissed through her teeth. “We don’t have ti-” The sudden wailing of alarms across the other side of the parking lot cut her off, looking in its direction just as the arching violet light flickered out, the only light now coming from the wildly fluctuating LEDs. “How…” She looked slightly slack-jawed at Sombra. She had seen Markus do similar, able to hack into security systems simply from being able to get them in his field of vision, but a human hacker being capable of it, even with cybernetic enhancements…

“Right.” She muttered, still slightly distracted as she stared at Sombra before shaking herself out of the daze to jump back into action. She kept low as they crept quickly to the truck, glancing over to make sure the workers were still preoccupied with Sombra’s distraction before moving to the doors of the truck, placing her hand on the android pad, smirking as it turned green. “You think they’d change the security on these to not just accept every android any more. Their loss.” She muttered as the doors slid open, throwing the bag up into the truck bed before hoisting herself up as well. “Grab as much as you can.”

Sombra couldn’t help but bask in the victory of the moment, however small. Sure, they still had to get the supplies and leave with them ... but one of the harder parts was over. Now to cash out. Hastily but with as much care as possible, Sombra began rummaging through all of the various cargo crates, grabbing as many of the smaller biocomponents as would fit into the duffel bag--mostly blue blood packs, thirium pump regulators and auditory/optical devices. They’d have to string for the larger biocomponents on a future heist. Between the two of them, they managed to fill the bag to bursting in record time, Sombra nodding in satisfaction at their handiwork. “Alright ... cool. I think that’s about all we can fit. Zip it up and let’s bail.” Taking a moment to peek out from the back bay of the truck, she took a mental note of where each worker was. Most were still crowded around the now-silent truck she had hacked earlier, as though trying to figure out why the vehicle had come so haywire. Good. Their continued bafflement would be more than enough of a diversion to slip past. Looking back towards North, she motioned with a tilt of her head to follow her before sliding down as quietly as possible. For about halfway of the trip across the lot, all was well ... until the sudden appearance of red and blue lights from directly above them froze Sombra’s blood in her veins. She gazed up... “Mierda...!” And then the alarm sounded and an ominously familiar synthetic voice blared out, “Your faces have been documented and police have been notified. Please do not resist arrest.” In a crackle of violet spider lights, just as before, the police drone wavered mid-air for a few moments before powering down and crashing into the ground with a loud crunch. It was little use, however ... the ruckus had already drawn the worker’s attention. “Shit, shit, shit, shit ... we gotta go!”
