“It’s not for everyone, that’s fair.” Harmony replied knowing that some people just didn’t get involved with the arts. She didn’t take that sort of thing personally. “It’s nice to meet you as well.” She added with a smile always happy to meet new people. “I’m not really great with anything involving math to be honest with you.”

He smiled “I mean... I appreciate it but its not something I personally could do” he nodded a bit. He grinned over at her “Well there is a fair bit of math, but theres other things that go into it. Plus, I let my students use their notes to help them” he smiled. “So as long as you’re a note taker... I think you’d have done fine”

 “I would certainly hope so.” He said with a nod, wanting to get his mind onto other things as much as possible, but finding out his whole life had been a lie was a lot to handle so at the moment he was mainly just looking for distractions. “Fair enough. I guess places like this are great for that sort of thing, except they usually come with a price tag.” He laughed, sipping off his drink.

He smiled a bit, “I hope so too” he said with a nod, not wanting to pry on the mans business. He nodded a bit “Yeah... I’m not too worried about the price tags” he laughed. “Just trying to have a good time”

 Diana looked back over at him, slowly biting down her bottom lip. Was she? When she wanted to be, which usually was the case these days. She released the grip on her bottom lip, smirking back at him, “I can be.” She winked, letting her focus shift back to the bartender once their shots were prepared, pushing two of them over at him, alongside the plate of lime and the salt. “Well - You are not drinking with the boys tonight.” She chuckled, licking the top of her hand before pouring some salt on it, “I assume you are a big boy and don’t use salt and lime?” She asked him curiosity, before licking the salt back off, tipping back the shot of tequila, only to bite down on the lime. Making a slight face as she did so.

He glanced over her again, unashamed and a small smile pulled up at the corner of his lips. “Well, thats good to know” he said with a small smirk. He watched her as she took the salt and lime, chuckling before he pouring a bit of salt on his hand, licking it- taking the shot then sucked the lime. “I prefer body shots” he flashed her a small smirk. “if I’m using lime and salt”

 “You haven’t?” She asked a bit surprised. It appeared Scotties was the place most people seemed to seek out. “Well, if you don’t mind some company, I could do with a bite to eat and I’ll take you.” She offered. She chuckled back at him, “Psychology.” She said, not even sure if the subject had ever come up between them. “But don’t worry, I wont analyze you too much.” She joked back with him.

He shook his head “I try not to eat out much I guess” he said with a small shrug, then smiled softly as she offered to join him. His eyes scanning her for a second “I suppose I wouldn’t mind your company” he teased, then chuckled “I’d appreciate that” he smirked, placed his phone into his pocket. “So what are you looking to get into with psychology?” he asked curiously, walking around the front of his car and unlocking it, motioning to the other side for her.

Oliver sighed before nodding, “Yeah I guess you can say that.” He told him, not exactly sure if he wanted to spring the details upon a complete stranger as he was still trying to work through them himself. Taking his drink and placing the edge of the glass between his lips, tipping it back. “What about yourself?” He asked out of curiosity thinking most people had their reasons for drinking alone in a bar.

He nodded gently, “Well” he said “That should help you take the edge off whatever it is on your mind” he didn’t want to pry too much. He chuckled a bit at his question and nodded, “Yeah... its been... a week” he admitted. “But more so just a way to kill some time and relax a bit” he added, feeling like he didn’t get to do either much.

Diana let another chuckle escape when he said he was not a singer, “Well alright then.” She teased with a wink. “That is very considerate of you, thank you!” She added while shaking her head ever so slighlty, liking to think that he was over exaggerating. “Oh please! I would never. I am a good girl.” She told him with a slightly playful smirk as her eyes gave him another one over. Which in all fairnesswas true, at least tovsome extent. “Whiskey? For a shot?” She said a bit hesitant, before she ended up ordering two shots of tequila each. “I hope you don’t mind, but shooting straight whiskey hardly sounds like fun to me.” She explained with a shrug.

He couldn’t help but laugh at her comment, giving her a quick wink before pulling the beer to his lips. His eyes drifted over her as she mentioned being a good girl, “Are you?” he asked, the tone in his voice shifting into something a bit more devious. He chuckled at her surprise then nodded as she suggested tequila “That’s fine with me” he nodded. “Suppose I’m just used to the boys tossing them back for the hell of it” he replied.

Verity nodded her head slowly, “Alright.” She said with a slight smile on her lips. “Yeah? There is a decent spot not too far away from here, but I’d imagine it’d be packed by students right now. Scottie’s is an option though.” She suggested with a shrug. She smirked back at him, “Fair enough.” She said, not that she would have been surprised either way. “But yes, I do attend this college. I am done for the day though, luckily. I don’t think my brain could handle anymore theories.” She chuckled.

He nodded a bit as she spoke, taking her suggestion. “Scotties.” He said mostly to himself. “I’ve never been.” he looked at her. He smiled slowly, “I do believe we talked about what you’re studying before but I’m having trouble remembering” he admitted. “Want to refresh me?”

“Yes exactly, the theatre stuff.” Harmony confirmed with a small nod. She was happy to be able to share her love of theatre with young people and hoped some of them would get involved. “I did have a good day. A bunch of students seem interested to get involved which is amazing.” She added with a smile. “Nice to meet you, I’m Harmony Andrews.” She added shaking his hand. “I probably would have failed your class, I am not going to lie.”

He listened to her and nodded a bit “I don’t know much about it honestly” he admitted with a soft laugh. He gave her a friendly grin as she introduced herself, giving her hand a shake before taking his hand back. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Andrews” He said before chuckling at her comment. “Why do you think that?” he asked curiously

Oliver nodded as he waved down the bartender, “Get me one of those Old Fashion.” He said, placing his cash onto the counter while resting his elbows against it ever so slightly. “Sounds just like the kind of drink I need right now, thanks.” He nodded back at him. 

He gave the male a soft nod, returning to his own drink before looking back at the male. “Hard day?” he asked curiously. Normally Destin didn’t just inject himself into people’s lives or their business but he was curious, by the sound of the mans voice, it seemed he had things on his mind. Destin wasn’t normally someone comfortable with emotional vulnerability but tonight he was willing to lend an ear to the man if he needed it.

 Diana nodded her head at his question, a smile remained locked onto her lips as she tilted her head a bit to the side at he spoke, “No? Care to share with the audience?” She chuckled back at him, only teasing off course. “Busy man, got it.” She nodded. Biting down her bottom lip a little, smiling again when he accepted her suggestion, “A few? I like the sounds of that.” She chuckled, “What is your preference?” She asked while waving down the bartender. 

He laughed a little and shook his head, raising a hand to dismiss her “Oh no, I am not a singer” he laughed “I would hate to rupture your eardrums with my tone deafness.” he chuckled. “I can’t have you getting me completely drunk now can I?” he smirked, “Taking advantage of me and what not” he joked, obviously she couldn’t get him drunk- he was always very good at holding his alcohol and stopped when he felt just above a buzz. He didn’t need anything more than that, the few times he had been drunk- they were not a pleasurable experience for him, not to mention one of those nights landed him in jail for the night. “Uh, Whiskey or Red Snappers if you’re feeling a bit fancier” he laughed, although it wasn’t actually a fancier shot but it was more complex than straight Whiskey.

 Verity let a laugh emit from her lips, “That is the one!” She exclaimed, crossing her arms in front of her chest as she let her eyes glance over him. “Oh alright then, don’t let me keep you.” She said, adjusting the bag that was almost falling off her shoulder. Sometimes it felt like for each semester she ended up with more books to read than anything. “No? What, not given you the impression I am smart enough to attend college? Ouch, that hurt.” She chuckled, “What did you think I did in a small town like this then? ” She asked him out of curiosity with a teasing smirk. 

He smirked softly then his eyes widened as she said she didn’t want to keep him, causing him to shake his head. “OH no, I meant in general. I’m not busy now” he explained. “I’m trying to figure out where I want to get lunch” he chuckled, watching her fiddle with the bag. He narrowed his eyes slightly “I never said that” he said looking at her. “I said I didn’t know you attended this college”

She had chuckled at him. “To a better night! Whatever that means.” Emma had shrugged. “More eventful in what sense?” She had asked him curiously. She had been intrigued by this guy but she hadn’t been able to read him. “What are you looking for to keep your attention?” 

He smiled at her then shrugged softly at her question “I don’t know” he laughed “Just... eventful. Suppose that could mean several things” he explained. “I’m keeping the options open.” he smiled slowly “Well, Right at this moment, you’re keeping my attention.”

“Oh I’m sure it went just swimmingly” She laughed as she sipped her beer again, hip against the counter as she raised a brow. “A very thrilling and exciting life I’m sure” She winked before shrugging a little and running the fingers on one hand along the bottle slowly. “I’m sure you were able to find yourself occupied enough” She teased softly “I was there with someone” She added before looking around the mostly empty bar. “Yeah it’s a nice breather, I’m sure it won’t be nice when looking at the numbers later but….for my sanity it’s nice”

He chuckled a bit and tipped the beer to his lips, “I live a very thrilling life” he teased, knowing his life was fairly busy and he didn’t necessarily do anything too terribly exciting. His brows lifted gently at the admission of her going with someone, “Oh?” He nodded a bit. “Did you have a good time?” he asked curiously, watching her look around the bar. “It’ll all even out” he said with a nod. “Don’t compare these numbers to those, compare them to just before it” he said with a small shrug. “Ahh well not as occupied as you’d expect” he chuckled.

“Always a good strategy.” She winked at him, twirling a loose strand of her hair around her fingers as she locked her eyes with his own. “Makes two of us.” Aubrey chuckled, shaking her head a little. “How come?” She asked him curiously. “Let’s say I made the best of it.”

He smiled slowly at her, watching the show as she twirled the brunette lock around her finger. He leaned over the table slightly, “Who’s your target tonight?” he asked with a playful grin. “Because... I remember how much you enjoyed the lack of clothes last time we were together.” he chuckled then nodded “Yea, same here”

Oliver was seated by the bar, sipping of his beer while his eyes scanned the people. He hadn’t gotten back into his routine yet of streaming and such. Truth was, he wasn’t really in the mood for it. Some stuff had kind of happened over Christmas and he wasn’t really feeling like doing much at the moment. Except drink. Drinking he’d done plenty of. He looked over to his side, offering the other a slight smile, “What are you drinking?” He asked him out of curiosity, not sure what to make out of it from the glass.

Destin had just finished his first week back in the swing of things, although it wasn’t much different from how he spent most of his days the students weren’t ready for the return of school and it was obvious. He sat at the bar, going over plans in his head when he heard the mans voice beside him. “oh” he said glancing down at the glass in front of him. “It’s just an Old Fashion” He replied. “Bourbon and whiskey with a few other things”

Verity had attended a full on day with lectures and was at this point more or less tempted to just give up. Maybe it was mainly the fact she had just returned from Christmas break and she was just struggling to find any form of motivation to get back into the swing of things. Regardless she was headed home for the day, scrolling through her phone while walking and happened to look up in the moment she spotted a familiar face in the distance. A slight mischievous smirk took shape on her lips when she began walking in his direction. “Hello Dustin.” She chuckled, obviously just joking, “Long time no see. How have you been?” She added while tilting her head a bit to the side.

Destin sat outside the college, just having come from a conference with the board about testing scores and how to raise them. His eyes locked to the screen of his phone attempting to find a place he wanted to eat as he had the rest of the day off. His ears perked up hearing the woman’s voice, a voice he recognized but hadn’t registered as his name was pronounced wrong. He quickly glanced over, looking back at his phone before his brain connected the dots and he looked at her again with a grin. “Hey Valerie right?” he smirked then shrugged “A bit busy to be honest” he nodded. “I didn’t know you went here.”

Diana smirked back at him, “For sure.” She responded while letting her eyes glance over him ever so slightly and looking away again. “Oh, thank you.” She chuckled at his compliment, “Do you sing?” She asked out of curiosity. Her head cocked a bit to the side, “I am sorry to hear that. Did your mother’s tea parties and such take up most of your time then?” She asked him with a teasing smile. “Hm, just beer. That sounds awfully boring. Would you be up for some shots perhaps?”

He chuckled a little bit “Do I sing?” he repeated before shaking his head. “Not very well, no” he laughed. He laughed “her tea parties. No no I’m just... a busy person” he shrugged. “Besides my mothers parties.” He looked down at her as she offered shots and smiled “I suppose a few couldn’t hurt.”
