About ⬩ Q&A ⬩ Directory ⬩ Art Blog

Hello, it seems you've found my train blog. I’m a general train enjoyer but more of a diesel guy. This blog is home to a project I've named "Railside Retreat" which you can read about in the Q&A section linked above. If you have questions, send me an ask if something hasn't been answered.

#idk if people have noticed but I only ever post the characters that are [derived from Train Show Popular Cast] if they actually Look Nice #because of the characters that inspired them I only feel that its fair to really post the nicer stuff of them than the messier sketches #whenever I draw those hags I tend to sketch them freely but that's also bc the characters that they were based on also had few appearances #which makes them open to interpretation and it makes me just have to cook for them. which has also led to me places I wouldn't go with a gu #so if I seldom post characters like say the trio or something you won't see them unless it's something a bit more polished #I think it's just my way of providing quality control internally in my brain but I always try to make my designs look presentable #fauxtrainpost.txt

#everyday. everyday I get closer to making a slideshow about why d10 and lady as characters feel married and divorced in the meta-narrative #80% is because I'm insane but I feel crazy that I might be the only one commenting on how jarring it feels seeing them feel so. separated #I like both characters. I like how people have grown to like their potential in the fandom. and yet they have been so absent from the canon #the years between appearances of them in movies and d10 alone. how d10 is associated with tatmr despite being in cae dotd and s17 w/out lad #she's haunting his ass dude that is your narrative foil you cannot escape association with she's the yin to your yang (or vice versa)#this does not concern ada or damara btw I'm talking about the TRAINS this isn't even like shipping this feels like “MEET POTENTIAL MAN!”#yeah I'll probably make a thing at some point for now I gotta draw something for pride month that will piss everyone off #fauxtrainpost.txt
