Contemplating coining the term CRAP (CRazy-Acey-in-sPacey) to describe the phenomena of people making purposefully exaggerated blogs on Tumblr parodying a group they don’t like while pretending to be genuine to garner backlash and further stoke hate and then people taking it excruciatingly seriously despite it being an obvious psyop. Transmascvoicesproject? That’s crap. Don’t bother with crap, don’t step in it just to try to get rid of it because all you’ll do is spread it around everywhere and get accused of being the one responsible. Just point it out so others can avoid it and leave it at that.

i’ve seen now multiple blogs that post in the transandrophobia tag stepping well over the line into textbook transmisogyny, biases are on display, it’s well too much so this is me intently reminding you all that the trans women who take out frustration on all trans men, have often had just as many traumatic experiences that in their own minds validate their hatred. blaming an entire minority demographic - (whether or not you think that minority demographic has privilege over you they are still a minority demographic.) - because of bad experiences with them is a functional arm of fascism and bigotry that you are taking part in. the intent of feminism, is the liberation of all oppressed under patriarchy, and if you are losing sight of that then you need to sit out for awhile and gather yourself before you come back to a place where liberation is discussed.

there are ways to have conversations about intracommunity dynamics that do not paint with broad strokes, that hold nuance and good faith, one look at my own blog will tell you i stand by this, but that is not what i am seeing from far too many at this point.

trans women are well capable of lateral violence and harm towards us. but don’t you dare forget for one moment that we are just as adept at lateral violence and harm towards trans women. we can hurt each other. put consideration into your words and actions accordingly.

you cannot complain about behavior from another group when you are exhibiting the exact same petty, thoughtless, and ugly bigotry.

please collect yourselves, get a journal to vent all your ugliest thoughts, air out your brain where it harms no one, collect yourselves, question your own thoughts, practice cognitive empathy, search for inconsistencies and hypocrisy, collect yourselves, and then come back with what you’ve found.

not all of us can live in fantasy 100% the time like i see some people on here do and it's refreshing to learn something new. its been philosophy, essays, and history for me and i feel much more at home on planet Earth for it knowing that people have been struggling and wishing similarly for millenia.

its not that fiction doesnt have its place, its important and healthy to exercise the imagination, but non-fiction can do so much to boost and supplement that. if not for yourself, for your art or for the people you're around
