I’m never alone. I have ideas.

I don’t believe in killing people with kindness, I believe in saving them with it.

There’s no such thing as closure, only acceptance.

She did not have the kind of mind that could be quiet at all.

Things that matter are not easy. Feelings of happiness are easy. Happiness is not. Flirting is easy. Love is not. Saying you’re friends is easy. Being friends is not.

Worlds Collide but I'm Merely Passing By
So, what now?
I almost want to say that you learn to move on. But then again how can you move on after living through the invasions? Somedays I’ll be sitting in a coffee shop and I’ll look up and almost assume I’m back and theres no way to hide. You’ll dream of people you knew or dream of the invaders and wake up in a cold sweat unable to convince yourself it was only a dream because for me it wasn’t. Media portrays things like this promising closure and some bright side at the very end. But I will never see Charlie or Ashlin or anyone again. I don’t even know if they are alive. I don’t know who shut off the system in the end as my life flashed before me eyes but I will never forget. So how do I cope?
Promise of another day, remembrance of people lost, hope that somewhere my friends are out there looking at the stars thanking Christ they are alive. So, when the geese fly in and the world is quiet I can almost pretend it never happened at all.
If you ever feel small and insignificant in this world, remember that you are made up of the same billion year old atoms that make the stars. And there are only four hundred billion stars in our galaxy, compared to the seven thousand trillion trillion atoms that make you.

Travelling’s not something you’re good at. It’s something you do. Like breathing. You can’t work too much at it, or it feels like work. You have to surrender yourself to the chaos. To the accidents.
