I SHIFTED I SHIFTED I SHIFTEDDD.

okay, okay, I’m still all over the place but I’ll try and reiterate what happened. I was sleeping restlessly (like I usually do, but I’m injured so it was a lot more difficult to become comfortable). it was early morning and fuckass light was sneaking under my equally fuckass blinds and I WANTED that cookie — shifting and my s/o being that cookie. so I released my predisposed and typical shifting routine with music and focus and visualisation and said FUCK ITTT. I turned over and imagined it was early morning in my dr too (my bed isn’t even close to the window there but god forbid a girl takes some creative liberties) and then I visualised my s/o’s arms around my waist, his breath on the back of my neck. it made me feel better and after a few seconds, i lowk forgot about my beef with the light and then I FELT IT. his breath. I WENT RIGID. I turned and felt him KISS MY CHEEK. TWICE. mind you WE ARE NOT TOGETHER YET. his mouth was so so very soft and I thought maybe I was in my cr and it was my mom?? sometimes she wakes me up with kisses, but why the fuck would she be awake now and THIS gentle?? I heard him murmur something to me, (I think it was my name??) and so so much adrenaline was rushing me that I shifted back because WHAT IS HAPPENING. it feels less startling now, and when I shifted back I was FRUSTRATED but OH MYYY. earlier in the evening, I’d started thinking of my routine and schedule in my dr, and affirming lightly that I would wake up there (this schedule included my ‘best friend’ staying over and waking up with him!!) drowsy, fuck it, visualise guys!!

THE_EMPYREAN_SERIES ✶ when you're 19, you'll go into the Basgiath War College to bond your fourth dragon, and everyone there will tell you that there is no place for kindness there. It is very important that you ignore those people and remain kind. (you will regain your throne, revive your mate and lead the rebellion to victory)

FANTASY ✶ when you're called to the High Meeting, you'll see a fae warrior that looks like your dead lover before you turned into a nine tailed fox. at first you will brush it off, since it has been 1211 years since your human life. you will then be seated next to him during the festival, it is very important you do so. (you will find out you're mates and that he is infact the dead lover resurrected in a similar manner as you)

BETTERCR_001 ✶ when you are in 6th grade, you will hit a boy with a ball, and the teacher will ask you to take him to the medical room. it is very important that you take him there (he will later become one of the most important people in your life, your biggest supporter)

TWILIGHT ✶ when you return back to forks, your sister, bella, will be acting weird over a boy. one day, suddenly she will decide to go to Italy for the said boy, your other sister will refuse to let her go alone and will ask you to tag along with them both too. it is very important you go with them. (you will meet your mate and he has been waiting 2000 years for you.)

TEEN_ACTRESS ✶ when you're 16, you will get an offer to star in a show about demigods, where you would play the role of a character with the same first name as you. it is very important that you say yes. (the guy playing your love interest, will then be your lover in real life too.)

BETTERCR_001 ✶ when you're 15, people will pressure you to choose science because it is more "socially acceptable", it is VERY important that you go with your heart and choose arts. (you will then go on to study in oxford school of archaeology and become a well-known person in terms of research.)

LEGACY_OF_GODS. ✶ when you mistakenly punish a soul, you will be sent to earth to eliminate 20 murderers on earth. you will meet a mafia heir who shows interest in you after you almost kill him. it is very important that you save him. (you will fall in love with him)

stop treating shifting like a skill you’re still learning. that beginner mindset served you earlier in your journey. it’s outdated now. every time you approach it like “let me see if I’m doing this right,” you shrink your own authority. anything you do is the right thing to do. you just have to own that choice.

How to shift in seconds (no bs version)

The short version of this post in case the length gave you an aneurysm.

1) Get comfortable in bed at night (or don't, lay on the floor, stand up like a horse, sleep in the cupboard under the stairs like Harry Pottah I don't care).

2) Become pure awareness. Drop thoughts, drop your “body,” drop the environment. You are only your awareness. Focus only on your awareness. All else is ✨ illusion✨

3) Decide you’re in your DR right now.

3) Now that you’re in your DR (because you said so?? Tf) observe your awareness in your DR. No visuals, no forcing. Just “oh look, I’m observing the fact that I have an awareness in my DR. Right now.”

Ye olde “pretend you’re already in your DR”

4) Let your brain glitch out: “Wait, if I’m aware of my DR, and I’m aware of it from the vantage point of it being around me right now...doesn’t that mean I’m in my DR?”

5) Exactly. Let it sink in, and hold it. That’s it.

• Because you can’t observe something and not see it. You can’t intend to shift and not shift. The vantage point you observe from is your location. So if you’re observing your awareness in your DR, you’re there. It’s not pretend. It’s just how it works.

• Why would you still be in your CR if you’re observing your DR? Better yet—why would you still be in your CR if you decided to be in your DR, and you’re aware of it from the vantage point of the person who’s already there?? It literally makes no sense. Let your mind freak out. Let the reality crack. Then keep standing there.

You shifted. Don’t overthink it.
