I’ve always thought coffee smelt funny. That’s probably ‘cause my brother would make the worst type ever when I was younger, and I was put off slightly by the horrid smell. I probably drink too much tea… but maybe that’s the Brit in me talking. Haha. A coffee shop, huh? I work in one too… though I sing in the one I work at. Completely understandable! Really? Do you just sing there or do you work there and sing? I do the exact same thing at the one I work at. Every Friday there's an open mic night that I basically run and sing at. It's nothing glamorous but I at least get to perform and share my music in some way until I hopefully get discovered. That's my main purpose for being in this country and specifically this city. Is that why you came from London? That is where you're from, right? Judging by your glorious accent? 

It's really nice to meet you, too. JR... hm, your girlfriend wouldn't happen to be Andie would it? It's not every day you meet someone with your name and I met her last night and she was mentioning her dork of a boyfriend that I thought sounded like someone I could get along with pretty well. You're not a Star Wars nerd by any chance, are you?

Exactly my thinking which is why I allowed myself to sleep all day. Guess I learned my lesson. Not that I'll have this opportunity to do something like this until next week, anyway. I work almost every day. It's ridiculous but I need the money for studio time and stuff so I justify it as being worth it.

I tend to like both pretty equally. I'll always switch off so I don't feel like I'm drinking too much of one or the other but let's face it~ i just drink way too much in a day than should be acceptable. That's what happens when you work in a coffee shop, I suppose. I can't smell it all day without having some that would just be straight up torture! I'm Devyn, by the way.

No Work And All Play || Devyn & Lalita

Smiling at her, she stepped back and watched the dark haired woman pass over the threshold, waiting for her to be out of the way before she shut the door behind her, watching and admiring her while she was looking over Lalita’s apartment. She definitely looked good, hair that she just wanted to wind her fingers in, beautiful lips and a sweet face… sweet enough that Lalita almost wasn’t sure she did this very much, but then, Lalita’s face was often called sweet, doll like, and she was certainly not a stranger to casual sex. Or most any kind of sex, actually. She just wasn’t that great at getting it, lately. “Gamer, huh?” Smiling again, she raised her eyebrows. “I’m afraid I’m not a gamer no,” She murmured, looking over the raven-haired woman in front of her.

Stepping slowly over to her to close more of the distance, she started grinning and tipped her head to the side. “You are rather, aren’t you..? I’d be more than happy to help with that, in fact…” She reached over to the front of her checked shirt and slowly started undoing the buttons down the front, until she could push it off her pale shoulders. Stepping in, her eyes drinking her in and admiring her, she put two fingers under the other woman’s chin and lifted it slightly as she leaned in and claimed her lips, kissing her slowly, and deepening it after a few moments.

Devyn's eyes stayed glued to nimble fingers that were unbuttoning her shirt only to push it off of her and leave it lying there on the woman's floor. Something told her that finding her clothes would be something of a scavenger hunt later but in this particular moment she couldn't bring herself to care. She was too captivated and intrigued by the blonde that was now pulling her in, eliminating the space between the two. Heat radiated between their bodies as Devyn's lips worked slowly yet passionately against the other woman's her hands sliding down the sides of her body until able to grasp the belt of her robe. Finding an end she pulled at it unraveling the knot and leaving it to fall open exposing more of the body she couldn't wait to please and explore. It took everything in her not to pull away from the kiss just to admire what had been hiding under the robe but she figured there'd be plenty time for that and right now her mouth tasted too sweet, worked too well against her own to separate them. 

Deepening the kiss and letting her tongue slide over rose petal ones and parting them she slipped it inside her mouth, slowly, almost teasingly  allowing it to find it's partner before working against it, trying to coax her tongue into a dance of sorts. Devyn's hands still a bit cold from being outside snaked around the other woman's waist, caressing the silken skin of her hip and lower back while the other tangled in her long blonde locks. She surprised herself with how intimate she had allowed herself to become so quickly but there was no turning back now and there wasn't a single part of her that even wanted to.

So much for enjoying my day off, I just slept most of it all away and now have the worst headache from TOO much sleep. I should probably learn how to sleep at normal hours like normal people. Here's to the power of coffee and hoping it will do the trick and have me up and functioning in no time!

Aw, my parents weren't too fond of mine, either. After about my tenth they just got over it and realized I'm going to do what I want with my body, regardless. Not that I meant any disrespect, I'm just a big fan of self expression and tattoos and music are my two forms of choice. If you really want one you could always start off with something small and hidden. That's usually the way to go, not that I should be encouraging you! Hmm, your boyfriend and I sound like we'd get along well, if he's as big a nerd you say he is. I may have him beat, though. I don't know.

No Work And All Play || Devyn & Lalita

No matter what it was that got Lalita worked up tonight, perhaps the fact that the day had been so Spring like that her apartment was unusually warm, or perhaps it was because she hadn’t had proper sex in quite a while, on equal footing with someone else. She stretched her arms over her head and cricked her back and neck, going into the clean, large bedroom, going over to her mirror and combing her fingers through her wavy, long blonde hair. It was rather fortunate for her that such a beautiful woman was around to answer her distress call, and even more interesting that it was a girl she’d never seen on the site before.

She smiled to herself  at her luck and moved to grab something from her dresser, setting her foot on the chair of her vanity table and pulling a stocking up over her leg, dark brown and sheer, stretching out over her creamy colored skin underneath, than hooking the stocking to a garter belt that was hugging her hips just above a pair of purple satin panties, with a bra to match holding her breasts up. She put both stockings on and fitted them between the clasps dangling from her garter belt, then went over to her cream colored robe, strewn on her bed.

This wasn’t unusual dress for her, in fact she always wore glamorous underwear, if she ever wear them at all, a habit she picked up from a former job, the one that got her a place in this country at all, in fact. She left her bedroom, tying up the robe a little loosely so it was somewhat splayed, dipping low down over to the tops of her breasts, with a peak of purple between the folds,walking across the floor and feeling a little naked without heels but they tended to come off too soon to be bothered with most nights, and this seemed like one of those most nights. She heard the knocks first, then the buzz of the door bell, and hurried over to her door, peering through the hole first before she slid back the locks and pulled open the door, slowly smiling. “Hello there… why don’t you come in…”

Her whole apartment was rather high rise and fairly immaculate, something that was probably necessary since most of the furniture in her living room was white or pale colors, as well as the bit of shag carpet extending out of the couch, and the wood floor she stood upon now was polished and fairly scuff free.

Relief set in once the door crept open and a gorgeous blonde- the same she had seen pictures of on the site- had appeared on the other end. You never exactly new what you were getting when it came to the internet and although this girl seemed too good to be true here she was and to Devyn's pleasure scarcely clad. She had to admit the woman was an even more beautiful piece of eye candy than she was expecting. The perfect curves of her body and slight sway of her hips when she walked left Devyn eager to explore what was under that robe. Typically upon seeing someone as gorgeous her first thoughts wouldn't be to objectify but rather admire. Her first intentions would never to be have sex with a woman but since she already knew what was to come since it was the reason she was there, she couldn't help but let herself lust over the blonde. How could she not? She was bloody perfect to just about anyone's standards. 

Nerves swam around in the pit of her stomach as she suddenly felt a bit shy, walking into the woman's house but she wouldn't let her weakness be known. For all the girl knew Dev could be no stranger to nights like this and she wanted to give off the impression that she at least somewhat knew what she was doing about to bed a complete stranger. Looking about the apartment she nodded her head in approval. "Nice place you've got here. Nothing like mine but I wasn't quite expecting you to be a lady gamer nerd like myself." She laughed slightly at her comment while cursing herself for actually admitting that. Wasn't helping her score sexy points, that was for sure. Licking lips that were growing dry from anxiety and anticipation she then sucked in her bottom lip, biting down on it while again letting her eyes roam the woman's body- this time paying more attention to the detail of her clothing- or lack thereof. "I feel slightly over dressed" She grinned and continued on with her statement "but I feel as though riding over here in a cab with nothing but a robe on would have given people the wrong idea. Then again.. maybe it would have given them the right one." The raven-haired woman smirked. "But feel free to level the playing field any time you want." There was that confidence she knew she'd somehow manage to muster up.

No Work And All Play || Devyn & Lalita

To say that running off to a stranger's house for a spontaneous romp was out of character for Devyn would be quite the understatement. Typically she was more of a shy and introverted girl only engaging in sexual encounters after knowing the person for some time or at least knowing the girl's name but the thought of passing up getting to experience such a gorgeous woman in need of someone to play with for the night sounded unacceptable to the musician especially since she had been finding herself a bit sexually frustrated herself, lately. Life had been revolving around work and her music-- there was no time for play and tonight she intended on making up for that even if meant having to act out of character and completely impulsively.

Long tattoo covered arms stretched out behind her finding the cool leather of the couch beneath her as she swiftly pushed herself to her feet placing her xbox controller on the mahogany coffee table in front of her before shutting her game and television off completely. Devyn then walked herself into her bedroom to check over her appearance wanting to at least look somewhat decent for the girl that she knew she could never actually compare to beauty wise. Running her hand through her disheveled long dark locks she then shrugged her shoulders at her reflection deciding this was probably as good as it was going to get. An almost sheer plaid material hugged her upper body clinging perfectly to her curves and flowing nicely along her torso. Buttons along the top of the shirt remained open revealing just amount of cleavage to allure yet keep any possible onlooker curious. The grooves of the shirt lifting in just the right spot to expose prominent hip bones and even more tattoos that covered her body but her low rise, dark wash skinny jeans again, left a lot up to the imagination.

Throwing her favourite combat boots onto her feet she then grabbed her keys and headed out the door into the night she still wasn't quite sure of. Carpe Diem, Devyn. Carpe Diem. She told herself after haling a cab and giving the driver the blonde's address. Not knowing her name intrigued her and she proceeded to make a list in her mind of all the possible names she could be hearing roll off her tongue in the midst of pleasure later on that night. Perhaps she should play these sort of games more often, she couldn't remember being as excited to bed someone in a impressive amount of time. 

Hoping the cab driver had brought her to the right place, and rather, the girl had given Devyn her actual address and hadn't just scammed her the raven haired girl paid for her transportation and anxiously made her way up to the door, rapping her knuckles against it a few times and allowing her finger to prod the doorbell. The young musician stood there crossing her arms and watching the cloud of her breath emerge from her mouth as she exhaled cursing herself for not bringing her jacket along.

He just went through a tough break-up and is currently in limbo with his best friend who he is pretty much in love with. And then there’s my bb Brayden.
