What are your thoughts on Fortnite?
found the background image for 17776 chapter 13 (Intermission pt3)! dunno if anyones done this before but its a hubble image because of course it is. https://science.nasa.gov/image-detail/m31-2/ (may not load well on some devices this image is HUGE)
here's a compressed version of the image!

Any chance you'd be willing to share your ableton theme? I'd also be curious if ableton and it's appearance on their own inspires your music in some capacity and how you might describe that if so - I'm guessing it isn't the main creative drive, but does it help? Is it similar to how an artist might paint outside to get inspired to draw nature, or is it simply a utility to make your ideas, and you just wanted it to look nice? Has that changed over time? ftr I know nothing about color theory haha
I have a few fun screenshots through history, but I unfortunately only have specific settings and themes for the modern era.

September 2, 2014 — Showing some random patch & signal chain
As of right now this is the earliest Ableton screenshot I can find on my computer. Wish I knew what whatever was going on here sounded like, but I can't remember. I really, really love the old Live 9 light theme a lot.
June 17, 2015 — Working on the "MLP — My Past is Not Today Remix"
This is the iconic one to me. I would say that I mostly rarely think about my Ableton themes very consciously anymore, but this one will always remain deeply in my heart. I like referring to it as the "MPNT Theme" due to having made My Past is Not Today remix with it. (Middle photo has Sylver Stripe [Izzy] on the right side. I've definitely posted this one to Tumblr before.)
July 7, 2015 — Working on the "Scraton — Wireless Remix"
Not a fan of the total blackout theme for this anymore. I'm very whatever about dark themes in general these days.
September 1, 2017 — Working on "Tempest"
This one is very neutral I think. Very few thoughts on it. Definitely the one I was seeing the most while working on things like Mystic Acoustics.
November 25, 2018 — Working on "Square One"
Only showing this one to prove I didn't really move away from the 2017 theme for a WHILE.
Today, July 10, 2026 — Just yea
These are the two that I currently rotate between at this point. To be honest, I'd do anything to get the pink one or the original Live 9 light theme back. But yeah. The light theme I use now is from Sonic Bloom, and the dark theme I use is Immaterial, which Ableton created as a tribute to the late SOPHIE.
So I made this giant Wooloo. And he’s a ball. Hand for scale 😆
