Denmark - Zealand - Louisiana Museum - Gleaming Lights of the Souls by Yayoi Kusama 03_blurred panorama_DSC7251 by Darrell Godliman Via Flickr: At least partly borne out of the difficulty of photographing this Yayoi Kusama installation, I thought I'd try something a bit different for this shot so opted to sweep the camera round in an arc to deliberately create this abstract blur.

Denmark - Zealand - Esrum Abbey 01_panorama sepia_DSC7061 by Darrell Godliman Via Flickr: This was my second visit to Esrum Abbey and once again I got there too late to look inside the Abbey. We grabbed some coffee and cake from the cafe and spent a very nice hour wandering around the grounds. With this shot I've opted for a B&W pseudo-IR effect to create a series of layers and make the most of the dramatic lighting conditions. It also helped the galloping horses stand out against the almost white vegetation.

Denmark - Zealand - Gershøj Kirke 02_DSC7032 by Darrell Godliman Via Flickr: Gershøj church is a not untypical but particularly picturesque Danish church. On this sunny day back in May driving around some of the less visited parts of Zealand it looked particularly striking and this shot in particular is one of my favourites from the trip for the way the cloud compositionally balances the church in the frame.

Denmark - Aarhus - AROS - Your Rainbow panorama 04_Panorama_DSC6939 by Darrell Godliman Via Flickr: Absolutely my last exterior shot of this and it's a panoramic crop of a previous upload. I like the way the crop emphasizes the scale of the installation. I had high expectation for the Olafur Eliasson 'Your Rainbow panorama' at the AROS museum in Aahus and it certainly didn't disappoint. We must've stayed about three hours in the Museum and about half of that I spent taking photos in and around the rooftop installation.

UK - London - Photo24 2015 - Kings Cross Light Tunnel 01_panorama_DSC8118 by Darrell Godliman Via Flickr: This new light tunnel at Kings Cross Station has been on my 'list' for a while so I was glad to get there during this years #Photo24London event. Despite being mid-afternoon it was mostly deserted but there were just enough people around to add interest to the space.

Iceland - Reykjavik - Sun Voyager at night_DSC4890 by Darrell Godliman Via Flickr: I had many shots of the famous Solfar sculpture in Reykjavik I wanted to take before my trip to Iceland. I normally have good luck on these trips but this time round thanks to very Icelandic weather I had to make do with this 1600 ISO dusk shot taken on our last evening during a short gap in a snowstorm. I guess at least it's different than other shots I've seen before........ Iceland - Thingvellir National Park - Winter_sq_DSC4856 by Darrell Godliman Via Flickr: Continuing on our way around the so-called 'Golden Circle' near Reykjavik, Iceland we arrived at Thingvellir National Park. It's not as spectacular on Gullfoss or Geysir but I found the place very photogenic, maybe not least because it actually stopped raining / sleeting / snowing for more than ten minutes.......
