my child had a fun run at school today & then we picked her up in the convertible. we went to the greek festival; she had pizza & fries for dinner (we ate delicious gyro & i also had clams). she rode a few of the janky carnival rides and played a game for an inflatable toy sword. michael drives us in the air conditioning now to wawa to get drinks for dessert (icee, soda, iced latte)

overall a good, sun soaked day after a long, long week

michael got me some sort of a present for our anniversary & made a reservation somewhere for tomorrow...

he asked me to think of the most romantic place. we're so close to atlantic city & all the lil shore towns that idk!!!

we went to knife & fork for our second anniversary. i think we might have a marriage party there as well...? so that's a possibility. he said that i definitely want this food, so i'm wondering if it's seafood or setaara (french-afghan food with an interior that looks incredible, at least from the pictures online).

this man has learned & grown so much for me. :')

the way we have overcome emotional disconnection in the past month has been amazing! he's getting a lot better with conflict resolution, too. we handled a big cringe together this week and he didn't pull away from me, nor i with him.

i think about what he said: i have to be like this with you so that you don't love me less again, and maybe it shows he understands the maintenance required in a romantic relationship. i could realistically see myself happy in this relationship indefinitely:)

it's about being an instrument of truth by your own will. the guy who ingested helicobacter pylori to establish a clear causal link between it and the formation of gastric ulcers understood this too

some sources about Barry Marshall (the doctor in question, who was a resident in internal medicine when he did this). he credits Dr. J. Robin Warren with the initial discovery of heliobacter pylori, and he and Warren won a joint Nobel Prize for this in 2005.
