why do men have to disagree without reason whenever a woman is talking about anything related to philosophy?

making this post because of a comment under a video where a woman was talking about an increase in cruel behavior online (and in real life) when people feel they lack personal power. i've made similar observations on my own blog especially regarding conservative politics. it is true that when someone feels they lack personal power, especially if it is power they felt entitled to (like in cases of violence motivated by aggrieved entitlement), they will do what they can to punch down.

here is the comment that bugged me

there's no way he would say this if a man was making the exact same argument. what the fuck is the point? are we living in a world where human behavior can all be traced to one thing and any other factor brought up is irrelevant? if I was op I would be fuming but I also have narcissistic tendencies so it could be a complete overreaction #whatever #whatdoyouthink

thinking about trying this bullshit out for, you know, longevity. since i've started on my path in healthcare it's become abundantly obvious to me how good decent musculature is for all body systems. i care less about the excess poundage i'm carrying and more about the fact that i'm puny and weak. my bones hate that for me (and them)!

working at shoprite also means i see plenty of people that are Good 65. healthcare means i see more Bad 65s, but seeing someone at a Good 65 motivates me toward strength training. the Good 65s all have in common that they move their bodies - whether it's a specific exercise regimen at the gym, following youtube at home, or living a more active lifestyle overall, it's simply true that those elderly in good health have more muscle.
