“It would be my pleasure.” Reha barely thought her response as it came out her lip and she had to take a second to close her eyes. Yes, of course, she would try and make a joke like that. This was why she didn’t let herself become comfortable with royalty other than Toni. There was no say on how Diana would react to that hopefully realizing it was a joke as well as the sarcastic tone to her voice. She lifted a brow at the question - she didn’t. Children were the one thing about taking on the role of Queen that frightened her. She needed heirs but with her fear and disinterest in tiny humans, she was scared she would just turn into her father with them. “Well, I have to. Hopefully my future wife in more enthusiastic about them.” she answered before chuckling “Four? Well you better start or Toni will beat you to it by the end of the year.” she joked. She really couldn’t understand the fascination. 

Diana lifted one of her brows up when Reha responded like that and small grin grew on her face. “I didn’t know Toni had friends who were funny. By the way. Does he call you ‘his people’. He has a habit to call his friends like that. What a pretentious asshole.” She chuckled and rolled her eyes. Oh how she hated him. “What do you mean you have to? They can’t force you to make kids, right?” The princess asked and then continued. “Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if end of the year he would have ten. He’s like that. Always taking care of others. I guess he enjoys how people depend on him.”

“What’s the context? If there was a zombie apocalypse I would choose Toni, but if we were talking about day in water park. Then it would be Lisa.”

what are your hobbies?

“Being a absolutely fucking mess? That’s a hobby right? Eh. No, but seriously I like to paint. When I was younger I was quite good at it really.”

what kind of a tattoo would you like to get next?

“Oh… that’s a good one. I really don’t think too much when I get tattoos, I just get them when I feel like it. Longest time I have thought about getting a tattoo was like… three days and then I just decided to get it. But maybe something sea related? Shark? Whale? SEAHORSE?”

She raised a brow at the other woman. “I only need a morsel.” Viktorya didn’t want to feel as if she had to finish the other half. She was a picky person and didn’t like the idea of wasting things.  “If the first poison tester dies immediately, you won’t need me.” She nodded her head lightly. “I accept regardless. One less duchess won’t hurt anyone.” The world would continue on after her. She had been raised and trained around the concept of created a world that could still function even if she was gone.  

“You’re a picky eater huh?” She asked with a smile and offered her fork to her. “I have not eaten with this yet, so you don’t have to worry about my mouth bacteria.” Diana commented quickly and then just shrugged. “No but my first poison tester is dead already, but I’m not sure if he was just allergic to this stuff.” Of course she was just joking around now. “And yeah. You’re right. There is so many of you duchesses anyways.”

Her class wasn’t a distance learning class and if she had known that her family would call upon her again to fix her brother’s wrongs then she would recorded more of her lectures. Frustratedly and in a controlled manner, she pushed the last of her classes’ papers aside before covering her face with her hands. Now would have been a good time to scream, but even this felt too unrestrained for her personality. She lowered her hands and looked over at what had been dropped off. “What is it?” She asked before looking at some food on another table. “That looks good. I would like to try some of that.” 

The woman was decided that now that she was in Greece, she had to try out some classic Greek dishes. She had just stormed to kitchen and asked for them to do something for her and now she was sitting and poking her fork on the pastry cheese thing. “Oh this. I really have no idea. I think there is cheese and... dough? It’s something local stuff.” She answered and then lifted her eyes up. “Wanna try? I can give you half of this if you wanna. You can be my poison tester number two.”

Reha lifted a brow at the other girl’s answer but said nothing as she talked. There was a clear tone there, one that Reha would like to say she picked up because she was particularly observant, but she couldn’t. The girl just wore her emotions very clearly on her face. It still wouldn’t be her place to ask, Toni’s friend or not it sounded like a family matter. And they were enough of a functional family to deal with it between themselves. “I mean- I guess. Still giving a child no rules isn’t probably the best way to go about it. Even if they end up rebelling against them.” She tried out. “But I agree- in my case I think it’s more children don’t like me but-” she stopped with a small frown “I’m no particular fan of them either”

Diana realized quickly that she was sounding like a bitch and started to laugh a little. There was no need to be all this gloomy in front of Reha, she didn’t even know her that well and here she was whining. It made her feel a bit embarrassed, but she didn’t want it to show. “Oh fuck me.” She just said with laugh and shook her head. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to start opening up to you about these things. The fuck.” The woman then just shrugged lightly and his moody mood was gone, just like that. “So you don’t want kids then? If you’re not fan of them?” She asked, not knowing if it was getting too personal. “When I was kid I wanted to have like four kids, and my mother is not letting it go. Damn. She thinks that it’s a promise and she reminds me of it like every time we talk. It would do good to my ‘imago’.”

“Well, you got the pretty title so I need at least the dramatic throne to myself.” she said as if it was really important for her to be known as the dramatic one. It wasn’t but the joke was fun to make. “What? Tom Cruise is incredibly hot, always was.” Barbie didn’t have a type, that was where most people made a mistake on thinking about her. Sometimes the man didn’t even need to be handsome or hot, if he was nice and interesting enough she would probably hit on him. God, wasn’t she a slut? “Please, not this whole father subject again.” she still couldn’t get over the fact that some people her age could have a crush on her dad. Ew, no. “Dave. He’s cute, I could live with that. Okay, musical now. John Mayer or Ed Sheeran?”

“Well maybe you’re right. You can have it. Take it.” She said dramatically and then started to chuckle. Maybe they both deserved the dramatic throne. “No, but I’m serious right now. Really? Tom Cruise? But when he smiles he has that serial killer look on his face. Have you seen American Psycho? Like Tom Cruise is that guy.” Diana said and lifted her eyebrows up. She couldn’t believe that someone would really fancy Tom fucking Cruise. “Okay, okay. Enough about fathers.” She smirked and then continued. “Ed Sheeran looks like a fucking ginger hobbit, so I say John Mayer. You know the guys from One Direction. If you had to screw with one of them, who would it be?”

TASK011 - FAMILY BASICS

Father: Henri Albért Claude Guillaume Albrecht 

Mother: Marie Stéphanie Albrecht (born Marie Stéphanie de Leverghem)

Brother: Toni Eliot Albrecht

Henri Albrecht is good and smart king, but he is also good and kind father. He is that kind of man that believes that it’s better to be loved than feared and he has noticed that it’s best way to rule. Luxembourg adores their king and queen pair, and Henri tries to give everything he can back to people. Tries his hardest to really stay away from war and is there only to support his alliance financially.

Relationship between Henri and Diana is warm. Even though Diana is not the easiest child to have, Henri thinks nothing but good about her. Maybe he doesn’t read gossip magazines, or he just doesn’t want to believe that his good little angel, is not that good and pure anymore. Diana is truly his fathers daughter and she enjoys having that power over his father. But she only uses it to get away from boring paper works and if she needs to get something. Henri was the one that decided that it was time for his daughter and son to get somewhere safe. 

Marie Albrecth the queen of Luxembourg. Is known for being well-mannered, soft-spoken and loving partner for the king. And she is really all that. But it’s more clear that she’s definitely the stricter one between her and Henri. She’s from Belgium originally and her family is old and rich de Leverghem. That way she has always been educated and treated like royal. 

Because Marie is clearly the stricter parent, she and Diana argues and fights about how Diana is acting and making fool of herself.  She just wants her to behave like a princess she is, but Diana really doesn’t want to listen her that much and usually just let’s her calls go unanswered. Even though they are not that close, there is still love between these two and Marie want’s all of her children to be happy. Just don’t party, drink, curse, dress like a hobo and you’re fine to be whoever you are. 

Toni is the eldest and Diana’s big brother. Crown prince and future king. 

Diana’s relationship with her brother is very typical sibling relationship. They picker and fight sometimes, but they still love each other. Sometimes Diana can be unbearably childish and sometimes Diana feels that Toni is getting too mature, especially now that he has his own kids. Diana is just having his adult life crisis going on and her brother doesn’t help it. But at least he is someone she can give her paper works and other boring ‘important’ royal stuff. She’s really glad he’s the older one and the crown prince, because what would she do if she was the oldest?

“more a not-so-wild guess than less.” noel shrugged lightly. “i don’t drink, actually. it’s not a suitor of mine, unfortunately. so – no, i have tried it. i don’t think liquor should have any taste but the taste of liquor itself.”

“You’re smarter than you look then.” Diana commented back dryly. “No? But if you don’t drink, how do you have so strong opinions about liquor?”

“It’s unlikely to bother me so feel free” she answered the girl with a nod. It wasn’t a lie- she had heard pretty much all of it before more likely than not. The first 12 years of her life were spent in a public school and since then in the eyes of the British public as the bastard of the king. Reha let herself laugh at Diana’s story shaking her head- she could see Toni’s side of the situation but most of all she could imagine how he would have acted. And it was somehow an inside joke between the two at that moment. It was nice for a little change of mind in a moment where the world was all against her family and her by proxy. “She’s two- so he’s likely worried she’ll start copying you but honestly-” she said shaking her head “I’d pay good money to see her running around screaming fuck- bloody hell Toni would die.”

“Well now I know better I guess.” She shrugged with a half-smile on her face. It would be nice to get know Reha better, knowing how close she was with her brother. Sure they had their own friendships and stuff, but it was always nice to see what kind of people other hanged out with. And she seemed to be cool, cooler than Toni anyways. “Yeah you know. I don’t give a fuck if she learns to curse at age 2 or 16. She’s going to still learn it someday. If you’re trying to teach that it’s something you can’t do or it’s something horrible, she’s going to get more curious about it.” Diana started to explain. “You know how kids are. Forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest.” If she wasn’t still mad at her brother, she would probably been more chill about it. “But who cares about him and his stupid rules. He’s not going to give Lisa to me every time soon, so it’s cool. I don’t even want to babysit anymore. I don’t even know if I like children.”

“Says Mrs. Politeness.” he scoffed. Toni didn’t really have the patience for Diana’s behaviour at that moment and he was still in a bit of pain, plus Lisa’s face made him decide to end that right there. They were still in public, that was not a good thing for them anyway. “You know what? Forget it.” he gave her no time to answer him back before turning around and leaving with his daughter. He would leave that conversation for the future or maybe never but now he was just not on his best mood to deal with Diana.

“Yeah I have never said that I am some pure and well-behaved person, have I? No.” She snapped back and if something made her more angry, it was how her brother was ready to leave the conversation. “Oh, walking away? Already? You haven’t changed that much then. Always walking away.” Diana raised her voice, knowing well that there were people around. It wasn’t her that was embarrassed of these things. “Go fuck yourself, Toni.” The woman yelled and raised her hand to flip off. “Find someone else next time when you need help. I’m done helping you.”

“Bitch, don’t try to steal my position, I’m the dramatic one in here.” a title she grew fond of. Barbie had no idea when she started being that person but she also couldn’t remember a time on her life she wasn’t. “I’m not sure if I should feel flattered or offended.” she joked, her face on a fake confused look. Another reason why she liked being near Diana was that serious subjects would never come up and even if they did they’d make jokes about them. The whole point was to have fun. “Tom Cruise, of course. Always had a crush on that man. Oh I have good ones, Denzel Washington or Will Smith?”

“The dramatic and the smart one? That’s not usual combination, but you can have it. Just take it.” Diana chuckled and followed the other lazily. Every step she took, she could hear bottles clinging in her backpack and she was excited that she now had good reason to open them. “Really? Tom Cruise? I didn’t see you as Tom Cruise kind of chick, huh. Have you seen Top Gun? But lemme think a moment.” She started to make exaggerated thinking sounds and then finally answered. “Probably Denzel. I like his facial structure better. Okay. Younger ones, because you like your men young and not old as your father.  Eddie Redmayne or Dave Franco?”

“Can you stop thinking about yourself for one fucking second? I don’t know how you’re not able to understand how a child’s brain works if yours works the same damn way.” and he wasn’t going to try and explain to her either. Would be a waste of time and words. Toni was just thankful that all the doctor appointments were ending so he wouldn’t have to leave Lisa with Diana anymore and he now started to really consider hiring a nanny. “She didn’t need your help, for fucks sake. She saw something she found interesting, which on her age is anything, and just went for it. It was your job to stop her from doing it, that’s what watching a kid is all about, but your nap was more important wasn’t it?”

“Okay first of all, language. Remember Lisa is still with us.” Diana quickly noted back with annoyed tone on her voice. This is what happened when she decided to be a nice and watch over the kid. Like shit. You can just give it to your bodyguard and tell them to watch her. “Second, I make child like mistakes sometimes, but that doesn’t change the matter that I am still a grown up, okay. If you think that I am that immature, then what it says about you? You told me to babysit her. A child babysitting other child. Not very adult decision of you.”

She rolled her eyes and then just shrugged. “I think I told you that I can’t watch Lisa today. But it doesn’t matter what I say, does it? If you need something you have to have it. Like shit, you know almost everybody in this place and you had to make me watch her today. I can’t sleep for shit and you know it. It’s a fucking miracle, that I even fell a sleep while watching over her today.”

“And what’s the problem with that?” he saw nothing unusual about calling his friends his people. Not all of those were his friends though, there were a lot of friends of friends too so he couldn’t just go calling people he met that night his friends. “Diana, I am trying extremely hard here not to get even angrier at you, can you at least make some effort to help me?” how could he make her understand that kids were not as smart as adults when she acted like a kid herself? “Exactly, she is two, what did you expect from her? To just sit and wait for you to wake up from your nap? If she was mature enough to ‘know better’ i wouldn’t need yuo to watch her when I’m away. She’d be fine by herself.”

Diana lowered her eyebrows and looked a bit frustrated. “Hey I am not the one that ran away. There is no reasons to be angry at me anymore. She’s safe and sound, now you just should be worried if this is going to be a thing that is going to continue with her. You know. Running away.” She explained with a shrug. Sure, she wasn’t a mother and fuck if she knew anything about children. “No but you know. I think she’s old enough to know that if she needs any help, she can just wake me up. Like if she’s smart enough to understand bad words, maybe she should understand things like that? No? Maybe? But yeah. I’m not the parent one, fortunately.”

“what are you – a drunkard?” noel spoke unknowingly. “i disagree. alcohol is more of a special occasions drink. chocolate liquor? that sounds absolutely disgusting.” 

“Whoa, kid. Is it that obvious?” She laughed dryly. “You know. Chocolate pudding is not that healthy either. That shit is dangerous as fuck. Obesity is not a joke.” Diana noted and raised her eyebrows up. “Have you tried it? It’s better than it sounds.”

“World would be better place, if you could drink alcohol for every meal of the day and no one would judge you. And you wouldn’t get hangovers and massive headaches after doing that.” Diana noted lazily. “Pudding would be great with some chocolate liquor.”
