"dean winchester wouldn't eat pussy" "i wouldn't trust dean winchester with my drink" "dean winchester would see two lesbians and ask if he can watch" umm i think perhaps that. you have never in your life seen a single episode of supernatural
I wouldnβt trust his dumbass with my drink because he would DRINK my drinkπππand when it comes to eating, that man is a MUNCH. Nobody can tell me otherwise. AND he would 100% bag a bisexual baddie whoβs way out of his league and educates him on what to say/what not to say to the queer community. I donβt think heβd ask to watch, but heβs ask βhow does it work?β innocently out of pure curiosity without realizing how invasive it is.
Dean is a dick but he isnβt a frat boy, keg chugging, chad dick. Heβs a dick by default due to his walls he built over the course of his lifetime
Hot take: Iβve realized something in the SPN fandom and correct me if Iβm wrong butβ
There are two types of Sam girls and two types of Dean girls (this is excluding the Sam AND Dean girls)
Sam Girls
Toxic ass Sam girls who hate Dean for reasons that can be justified by either; mischaracterization by the SPN writers or because he has flaws (almost as though heβs a human being)
The genuine Sam girls who view Dean as a platonic big brother/father figure toward both them and Sam
Dean Girls
Toxic ass Dean girls who hate on Sam for god knows what reason, calling him whiney and a monster when his entire reasoning for being so messed up is because he viewed himself as impure and wanted to do something his with his life because heβs so burdened with guilt and they hate on Deanβs love interests out of pure jealousy (Lisa is an exception because they had zero chemistry in my opinion, it shouldβve been Cassie and I will die on that goddamn hill)
The genuine Dean girls who love Sammy as their own baby brother/bestie figure.
FIGHT ME, BITE ME, IDC. YOU CANNOT LOVE ONE BROTHER AND HATE THE OTHER. Pointing out their fuck ups and calling them out on their bullshit is one thing because Chuck knows theyβve made a shitload of mistakes along the way because theyβre human and complicated men. But blatantly putting down one brother while trying to put the other up on a pedestal as though theyβre Godβs gift to earth is fucking insane and youβve missed the whole point of the show.
This is a show made in the 2000s, an era where racism, misogyny, homophobia were normalized. We, as a society, are moving past that nasty mindset so if you see something that doesnβt align with who Sam and Dean are, please keep in mind that J2 didnβt get creative control over their characters until waayyy later seasons and they did the best they could with that control. When you see bullshit, do what 90% of the fandom does and rewrite it in your fucking heads. Thatβs the beauty of β¨fanficβ¨
Iβd like to give a big shoutout to my darling whoβs full of light with a pum pum thatβs sweet and tight @ibrowjo for giving me the idea for this video because I be sending her a shitton of videos that remind the both of us of these idiots and her OC (Bria) with Dean. I LOVE YOU TIGHT PUM PUM GYALβ€οΈπ€ͺ
And if your video is used in this complication, let me know if you want to be tagged because this was a lot of videos to put together. I hope this makes up for not posting in almost a year, enjoy five minutes of absolute nonsense!!β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
I am once again begging people to realize that AI checker doesnβt work. itβs never worked. itβs notoriously known to have flagged human-made works as AI and AI-generated works as human-made. and by feeding it peopleβs works, you are feeding more works to AI, because apparently the machine itself is AI.
the only thing AI checker does is harm genuine artists and people in general too.
Hello my beauties!! I never thought Iβd be making this note but here goes.
I came into writing this book with a full heart, I came in writing with a deep passion and motivation, I came into this fandom with a spirit that just couldnβt wait to get a new chapter out because these fellas and my favorite cookie loving psychic with her kickass blonde best friend lived in my head RENTFREE.
But the thing is, itβs not like Iβve stopped writing on the whole. I still write but for different fandoms and different ships (I just donβt post them) So I feel guilty about not writing about these cunts.
While they do still invade my mind on a daily, Iβve found myself growing distant to where writing for this book feels like more of a task than a hobby. So it is with a heavy heart that I officially put Genesis Primis on hold, indefinitely.
I know, I know. βShut up, Diana. Youβre being overdramaticβ but I am genuinely sobbing my EYES out as I write this because I genuinely fucking love them and yβall with my entire fucking heart to the point I feel like Iβm losing a family member because it hurts like fucking HELL.
But thatβs why Iβm not going to say, βHey guys, sorry but Iβm discontinuing/leaving this book incompleteβ because thatβd be a bloody lieπ€£I know at some point I will come back but for now, I bid you beautiful people a farewell (for now)
Thank you so much for endlessly supporting me throughout these past two years to EVERYONE who came as soon as an update dropped. To everyone who came and went, to everyone who would text me in between updates just to see how Iβm going. And especially to the lovely friends Iβve made along the way.
On a lighter note, I did mention that I still write for other fandoms and Iβve got an itch I wanna scratch lmao.
While I stick to x Readers, Iβve got this OC stuck on my mind for the series iZombie. I love this show so much but the fandom is basically dead and I never find good fics about it so if there is anyone in the fandom, I would love to know if I should post Devika Chakrabarti and Dean Du Clarkβs story (yes I totally just rebranded Dean Winchester because no matter what, heβll always be Charming to me and Iβll always be obsessed with him HAHA)
Let me know if youβre into that! Iβm gonna miss yβall like crazy, but Iβll be back. And thatβs not just a promise sweetheart, itβs a damn guarantee <3 (Charming wrote that, not meπ)
Had a long talk with one of my best friends last night about the upcoming plots for Genesis and it gave me motivation to post these I had saved in my phone AND I made more this morning. Hope you enjoy! <3 Thanks for letting me ramble sweetie

Genesis Primis is officially 2 years old today. I feel as though Iβve been neglecting my responsibilities to own kid because Iβve poured so much blood sweat and tears by turning my daydreams into actual words that so many of you seem to enjoy.
No matter how bad I feel for not coming up with any new updates as of lately, I wonβt apologize for not doing so because Iβd rather articulate and mold this universe when Iβm feeling motivated because itβs better than half-assing it just for the sake of updating/viewsβ¦.if you catch my drift.
Thank you to everyone whoβs been here since day one, thank you to the newcomers who stumbled on this project that started in a whim that has now become a series. Most of all, thank you for being so patient and compassionate with me and my long ass authors notes that just lead to me venting about my own shit lol. I love every single one of you beauties endlessly.
Iβll be back with the milk shortly, kiddos! (I hope you get that reference XD)
Summary: Y/Nβs having a hard time adjusting to life as a solo hunter, so she decided to reconnect with her longtime best friend Sam.
(Dean is 24 years old while Sam and Y/N are 20 years old)
Authorβs Note: After that depressing ass chapter, I decided to post this gem Iβve had tucked away in my WIPs for the longest while lol. I started this draft MONTHS ago but I was having a hard time with the dialogue. Hope you guys like it!

Third Person POV
San Francisco, California
β’September 2003
It was her first week on her own, away from those toxic to her surroundings (aka, F/N and John) Itβs safe to say that it was freeing being on her own, that doesnβt mean that Y/N didnβt crave the possibility of getting out of the life.
But somehow, she couldnβt shake it. Hunting was all she knew, she never knew what it was like to have a normal life. Never getting a taste of that apple pie, white picket fence.
She laid still on her back in her bed at her safehouse, her burning eyes stared up at the Stone Cold Steve Austin poster she had plastered on her ceiling from since she was merely a teen.
She was sure her father wouldnβt be in California since Dean rang her up and told her they were in Tennessee. F/N called up every favor, every source he had to find his daughter. But she wasnβt letting up, she stayed under the radar and away from familiar hunters at risk of the word getting back to her father on her whereabouts.
Since she was in California, her mind strayed on Sammy. Wondering what heβd been up to, heβd told her that he lived in an apartment off-campus from Stanford in Palo Alto, which was barely a half hour drive from her safehouse. She hesitated to call him, to tell him about the fact that she finally left home.
She was sure heβd be proud, her heart swelling at the thought of seeing her best friend again after two stinking years. Just as the thought crossed her mind, she heard her phone buzz on the nightstand.
Flipping over onto her side, Y/N leaned over and grabbed her phone. The contact name flashing her with Samβs number that was under βDipshitβ on the little rectangle box at the top of the phone.
Her fingers wrapped around the device as flipped it open to read the text. βHeyβ
βwhat?β She responded.
βYour dad just called me hungover and panicking, did you really leave home?β His text read.
Y/N let out a huff at the text. Of course F/N called Sammy, of course. It was predictable, he knew Sam was one of the only people who could talk her into going back home but also knew that Sam wasnβt the most reliable source. Only one can hope.
She typed up a response and hit send. βyupβ
Her phone buzzed again, βIβm proud of you <3β Samβs text read.
Her heart swelled at Samβs response, a warm smile spread across her face and she shook her head in amusement. She quickly typed out a quick response back to him. βthanksβ¦.miss you, dipshitβ
Her eyes went back to the ceiling, staring at Stone Cold Steve Austinβs face. Suddenly, the sound of her phone buzzing again snapped her back to reality.
She flipped her phone open again to see another text from Sam read, βMiss you too, crackhead. Where are you staying, though?β
βIβm up in the San Francisco safehouse, Dean told me that he and dad are in Tennessee so Iβll stay here for a few days and head back on the roadβ¦was thinking to pay you a visit but I didnβt want to intrude on you and Jess;)β She responded, hitting send.
She had a feeling Sam would love her to meet Jess but also contemplated the factor of how the introductions would begin. She couldnβt exactly speak to Jess, in the case she asked about Samβs childhood.
Y/N couldnβt exactly tell her the truth and since Sam chose to keep that part of his past life hidden from his future wife. The response was instantaneous, another text popped up and Y/N read another one of Samβs replies.
βNah, Jess and I would love to have you over, you wouldnβt be intruding at all! I think itβd be nice to catch up and I wanna introduce you to her :)β
She smiled widely until it dropped, so she called him instantly. After a few rings, Sam picks up the phone immediately. βHey, hey, hey. Whatβs up?β His voice filters from the other line, slightly amused and curious to know why she called so suddenly.
βSup, college boyβ She snorted as she pulled her covers off, βOkay, first things first. Do you really think itβs a good idea for me to meet Jess? Donβt get me wrong, I would loveee to meet my future sister in law but I know you havenβt told her aboutβ¦yβknowβ¦β Her voice trailed off.
Sam let out a sigh, his tone lowering. She was right. He was quiet before he spoke again. βNo, I havenβt told her anything. I justβ¦I donβt want to scare her off with the wholeβ¦hunting part..Sheβs a normal girl. But..i donβt think thereβd be any harm if you stop by. Iβve really missed youβ
Y/N sighed, βIβve missed you too, Sammy. But I canβt bring myself to lie to her, I know we literally do that for a living but I canβt stomach the thought of lying to that supermodel you managed to pullβ
Sam snorted softly from the other side of the phone, he ran a hand through his hair. It was true, he did get pretty lucky with meeting Jess, not something Y/Nβd ever forget to poke fun at him for, constantly reminding him of that.
A slight flush rose on his cheeks as he thought of her and he cleared his throat, "Yeah, I got lucky, I guess." He paused for a moment, contemplating something. "Alright, letβs meet up at a cafe in San Francisco. Iβll tell Jess Iβm looking for a new job, send you deetsβ
Y/N nodded before realizing that Sam couldn't see the action, her brain short circuiting for a moment. She hummed, "Okay, got it. See you soon, college boy." She hung up and tossed her phone on the bed.

Palo Alto, California
Sam stood in front of the mirror in his small apartment bathroom, adjusting the collar of his plaid shirt with one hand while scrolling through job postings on his phone with the other. Jess was humming in the kitchen, brewing coffee and flipping pancakes like it was just another perfect morning.
Perfect.
Thatβs what he wanted, normal, soft light filtering through sheer curtains, love that didnβt come tangled in blood and salt circles. But no matter how hard he tried to tuck it all away, the gun under the bed, the journal hidden behind law school textbooks, it always found its way back.
Like her voice on the phone earlier. βI canβt stomach the thought of lying to that supermodel you managed to pull.β He smiled despite himself.
Crackhead.
Only he could call her that and make it sound like affection instead of an insult. Two years apart hadnβt changed a thing, her sarcasm still sharp as a silver blade, her loyalty deeper than any warding spell.
βHoney, Iβm leavingβ Sam called out to Jess, fixing the sleeve to his Stanford hoodie as he stepped out of their shared room.
Jess poked her head out from the kitchen, spatula in hand and a curious smile on her face. "Leaving? You never mentioned plans today." She wiped her hands on the apron tied around her waist.
Sam rubbed the back of his neck, a telltale nervous habit Y/N wouldβve called him out on instantly. So instead of telling Jess he was out βjob huntingβ, he told her half the truth. "Yeah, uh, just meeting up with an old friend from high school whoβs passing through town."
Old friend.
The words felt heavy in his mouth, too vague for someone who knew every ugly secret he carried. But Jess didnβt press, she just nodded and reached up to smooth down his collar where it had folded awkwardly against his hoodie.
"That sounds nice! Tell them I said hi," she said warmly, pressing a kiss to his lips before turning back to flip a pancake expertly onto its golden side.
Sam hesitated at the door before grabbing his keys off the hook by their framed photos. The Stanford acceptance letter that Y/N ripped open two years ago was also framed along with a picture of Dean and Y/N wrestling on a motel bed.
The elder Winchesterβs head was locked in Y/Nβs arms while she noogied him. At the time, Sam thought it was prime entertainment so he snapped a picture. It was hung right by the door frame, like if they were deceased loved ones.
Sometimes, Sam felt like the life he dreamt of building wasnβt certain, he wasn't even sure it belonged to him anymore than, βSam Winchester: Normal Guyβ did now that bloodstained journal pages kept finding their way into desk drawers between case law notes.
But today wasn't about hunting or hiding things under floorboards, it was about seeing her, hearing how much shit she'd give him for this whole domestic charade, even though part of him loved it.
"Will do," he promised with one last glance over shoulder towards where sunlight caught dust motes dancing above Jess' hair like halos around saints before stepping outside into Palo Alto air, thick enough to choke you if you breathed too deep.

San Francisco, California
The Harley Davidson VRSC curved into the parking lot of the quaint little cafe. The cafe was tucked into a cozy corner of the quiet part of San Francisco, the streets were lined with cute shops and there was barely anyone out and about.
Sam sat at an outdoor table, eyes flickering to the passersby in case one of them looked even remotely like his best friend.
He sipped idly at a black coffee, hoping the caffeine would stop his leg from shaking with anticipation. He already ordered her favorite coffee order, the drink patiently waiting on the other side of the table for her.
When he heard the familiar sound of that βdeath machineβ skidding into the parking lot, he nearly fell out of his chair.
The Harley Davidson VRSC, black as sin and twice as loud, slid into a parking spot like it owned the pavement.
And there she was.
Helmet off before sheβd even killed the engine, her (h/l) (h/c) hair tousled from wind and speed. Y/N swung her leg over the bike with all her usual reckless grace and tugged off her gloves one finger at a time like she was some kind of outlaw making an entrance (which, letβs be real, she kinda was.)
Sam was already on his feet, rolling his eyes as his hands went to his hips.
This bitch is so full of herself. Always with the damn theatrics. He thought to himself. Then againβ¦..they were theater kids.
When her eyes locked onto him like homing missiles. A grin split across her face, sharp enough to cut glass, as she strode over like this meeting wasnβt two years overdue.
"Jesus Christ," Sam exhaled, hands shoved deep in his pockets just so he didnβt do something stupid like yank her into a hug right then and thereβ¦.he would later. "You couldn't have picked something louder? I think they heard you back in Texas."
She flicked an invisible speck off his Stanford hoodie with exaggerated disdain before dropping into the chair across from him without preamble:, βAw Sammy boy,β that wicked smirk never left her lips, βMiss me that much?"
Sam let out a snort, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked down at her with that classic βbitch, pleaseβ expression. "Oh yeah, absolutely. Iβve been counting down the days until I got to hear that godforsaken engine rattle my eardrums again." His tone dripped sarcasm, but the corners of his mouth twitched upward anyway.
He finally caved, the two standing up simultaneously. Sam yanked her up into a bone-crushing hug, because duh.
Y/N chuckled, already feeling those stupid tears pricking at her eyes because of how much she missed that stupid dimpled smile of his, wrapping her arms around his large stature before plopping back into their seats like nothing happened. "Seriously though," he said, nudging her untouched coffee toward her with one finger. "You look like hell."
Y/N took a dramatic sip of the coffee just to spite him before shooting back, βAnd you look like someone glued a golden retriever to a damn telephone pole.β Sam choked on air for half a second before bursting into laughter so loud it startled the barista inside.
Sam wiped tears from his eyes, still chuckling as he shook his head. "God, I missed you," he admitted, voice softer now between the remnants of laughter. Y/N smiled, genuinely this time, as the corner of her eyes crinkled .
Samβs fingers tapped against the ceramic mug absently before he leaned forward on his elbows. "So what's actually new? Besides the whole 'dramatic escape from home' thing, which, by the way? Badass. Wish Iβd thought of that," He joked before taking another sip of coffee.
Watching her over the rim with those warm hazel puppy dog eyes that had always seen right through her bullshit since they were kids stacking salt rounds in F/Nβs garage like it was a game of Jenga.
βI second thatβ Y/N chuckled dryly, raising her coffee mug along with Sam. Then, his tone shifted slightly, teasing but underlined with something realer, "...You good though?"
She hesitated, not wanting to worry him but she realized that if he asked this, he already knew she wasnβt doing well so she decided to be honest. βHonestlyβ¦.I have no fucking ideaβ She admitted, running a hand over her mouth.
Sam leaned back in his chair, and his gaze shifted to match hers. He could see the exhaustion that was clinging to her eyes, the way she looked like sheβd lost weight from the last time heβd seen her, like she was always on the run. Always stressed.
But he knew that if he pushed too hard, she'd close up. So he kept his tone light, even as he searched her face. "Yeah, I figured." He said, taking another sip of coffee before continuing, "You look like you're about two sleepless nights away from collapsing."
She chuckled dryly again, βYou could say that againβ Sipping the coffee. βIs this how it was when youβ¦β her words trailed off. Samβs fingers tightened slightly around his mug, the warmth seeping into his palms.
He exhaled through his nose before tilting his head just slightly, studying her with that familiar softness in his eyes, the one that said βI see youβ, even when she didnβt want to be seen.
"But hey," he added after a beat, nudging her foot under the table like they used to do during boring family meetings in Bobbyβs living room, a silent βheyβ, a quiet check-in Winchesterarian.
"You're not alone," he continued, voice steady and sure, like he wasn't just stating a fact but a promise, "You've still got me."
Y/N took in his words, the sound of them settling in her chest like a warm embrace. She didn't doubt his loyalty, not for a second, but it was nice to hear the reassurance. She didn't deserve it, not by a long shot.
"You're just saying that because you missed me" she countered, the teasing edge returning to her voice. It was easier if they kept this light. βWellβ¦.youβve still got Deanβ A small flicker of sadness shone in Samβs eyes as his brotherβs name slipped from his lips.
Y/N caught the sadness as it passed over his face, recognizing the pain that came with mentioning Dean. "Yeah, I always have him," she murmured. "β¦.he misses you, yβknow"
Sam swallowed hard, the coffee suddenly tasting bitter in his mouth. He knew Dean missed him, in that gruff, barely-there way his brother had. But hearing it out loud made the ache in his chest sharper.
He missed the way his older brother could make him laugh like no one else. He missed the way Dean could read him with one sideways look, the way he always had his back in a fight.
He missed his brotherβs stupid jokes, his cocky smirk, and the way he could make even the direst situation seem like an adventure.
"I miss him too," he admitted, his fingers tracing the rim of his cup, "Every damn day." He blinked rapidly. βThen call him, Sammyβ Y/N urged him, βYou fellas areβ¦β She sighed, βWeβre all each otherβs got left,β
Sam let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair. He knew she had a point, of course she did.
"It's not that simple, Y/N" he said, and the tired edge to his voice said that he'd been over this with himself too many times to count, "We're on different paths now. He's with Dad, hunting full-time. And I..." he trailed off, his eyes flicking up to meet hers.
"I'm trying to have a normal life. I got Jess now." Y/N felt a lump build in her throat, swallowing as she nodded. βI get itβ¦β She nearly croaked, offering him a watery smile. βBut hey,β she added after a beat, nudging her foot under the table like they used to do during boring family meetings in Bobbyβs living room, a silent βheyβ, a quiet check-in Winchesterarian. βIβm proud of youβ
Sam's eyes softened, his expression shifting from that distant pain to something more tender, more familiar.
He nudged her foot back with his own, the simple motion sending a wave of nostalgia through him. That was theirs. A silent check-in, a gesture so ingrained in their friendship that it felt more like muscle memory than anything they'd ever thought about.
When Y/N said she was proud, it was like a weight lifted off his chest. He hadn't realized how much he'd needed to hear that until she said it, and the words almost brought a lump to his throat.
"Thanks, Y/N" he murmured in that soft, sincere way that was so Sammy it made her want to cry. "That means a lot coming from you" He let out a half-chuckle, "Youβre probably the only one who is."
Y/N rolled her eyes, βBoy, I will smack you right here, right now. Donβt you dare test me, little Winchesterβ she pointed at him firmly.
Sam threw his head back and laughed, the sound bright and unguarded, a rare moment of pure joy breaking through all the heaviness. "Oh yeah? And what're you gonna do, shortstack?" He grinned, his dimples popping as he stretched his arms above his head just to emphasize the very unfair height difference between them.
Y/N squinted at him like she was mentally calculating whether jumping across this table was worth it. Spoiler, it absolutely wasnβt.
Instead, she grabbed a sugar packet from the condiment caddy and chucked it at his forehead with deadly accuracy. "Boom. Headshot!β She raised her hands in victory.
Sam clutched at where it bounced off with exaggerated agony like he'd been hit by a bullet instead of a Splenda packet while nearby customers side-eyed them warily but whatever, worth it for this stupid grin on her face.
-
As they finished their coffees, she placed the cup aside and pulled out her wallet to pay with a couple of twenties. βDude, I need a beerβ Y/N told him, burping in a very unladylike manner.
Sam snatched the bills out of her hand before she could even lay them down, shoving them back into her jacket pocket with a disapproving frown. "I got this, and no, youβre not getting a beer at 11 AM," he said firmly, like the responsible big brother type he totally wasn't except when it came to her.
"Pffft," Y/N waved him off dismissively. "Like you've never day-drunk your way through Dad's whiskey stash before."
"That was different!" Sam sputtered indignantly while tossing cash onto the table, because yes, he absolutely had standards now or whatever.
She smirked victoriously as they stood up together, stretching lazily before nudging him towards where sheβd left her bike earlier .
"C'mon, dipshit," She taunted playfully over shoulder already halfway toward her vehicles, βLetβs go see if we can find some poor unsuspecting bar open this early so I can kick your ass at pool while telling embarrassing childhood stories about youββ
βRemind me again why I agreed to this?β Sam groaned. Sam followed her, shaking his head with a long-suffering sigh, but the grin tugging at his lips betrayed him. "Because you secretly love me and youβd die for me," she called over her shoulder, already swinging a leg over the Harley.
"Correction," Sam shot back as he caught up to her, "I tolerate you and Iβd eat a piping hot pocket before I died for your ass"
Y/N threw her head back and laughed, loud enough to startle a pigeon off the sidewalk. She tossed him an extra helmet from under the seat. "Oh admit it, Iβm a charmer" She wiggled the helmet tauntingly just out of reach.
Sam snatched it from her with an eye roll so dramatic it could've won awards. "Sure.β He deadpanned. βNow scoot forward before I change my mind and take a cab to literally anywhere else."
She cackled but obeyed as he climbed on behind her like an overgrown backpack. Just like old times, except now they were technically adults who definitely shouldnβt be bar-hopping before noon.
...oh well. Winchester-L/N rules still applied. Screw normal.
The engine roared back to life as Y/N kicked the Harley into gear, the vibrations humming under them like a living thing. Sam barely had time to wrap his arms around her waist, before she took off like a bat out of hell, weaving through traffic with all the grace of someone whoβd spent half their life running from something.
"Dammit, y/n/n!" Sam yelped, tightening his grip as she swerved around a taxi with inches to spare. "When did you turn into Dean?!"
Y/Nβs laughter was swallowed by the wind, but he could feel it where his chest pressed against her back. "Please," she shouted over her shoulder, "Iβm way hotter on a bike than Dean."
Sam didnβt dignify that with a response, just clung tighter and prayed to whatever saint looked after idiots on motorcycles as they sped toward whatever dive bar would serve them this early.
____________________________________________
Later in the evening, "I'm telling you, Sammy," Y/N drawled, lining up her shot, "I canβt wait to call you to bail me out of jail, seeing you all lawyered up in that pansy ass suit and tie" She snorted, taking the shot and sinking two solid balls into their pockets.
Sam rolled his eyes again, grabbing a fresh beer from their table. "I hate you." He took a sip, trying to look annoyed but failing to hide his amusement.
"You love me." She corrected smugly, lining up her next shot. Despite the five shots and three beers already in her, she still hit her target with that unnerving precision of hers. The sound of balls clacking together was oddly therapeutic.
Sam leaned against the end of the pool table, nursing his own beer. He was only on his second, his tolerance nowhere near Y/N's. "Debatable."
Sam saw the unwavering nerves on her face, the alcohol wasnβt doing much to hide her clear depression and anxiety. What he did know was that the liquor would loosen up her tongue eventually and sheβd talk about what else is on her mind, what sober her couldnβt tell him.
But she was putting up walls again, seeing through the guarded look in her eyes beneath all the snark and snarkiness. He sighed softly, the sound nearly drowned out by the hum of the bar, then decided to try his luck.
"You gonna talk to me about why you look like you haven't slept in a million years or should I keep pretending I don't know what's bothering you?" She missed her shot, cursing under her breath as she stepped back to survey the table again without looking up. "Dammit." She muttered, reaching for a fresh beer.
She burped once more, βTook you long enough,β as she rubbed her stomach. Just like how Sam was reading her, she was reading him. She knew it was only a matter of time before he tried to get her to βtalk about her feelingsβ.
Dammit, why couldnβt he be like Dean? Just lather her with alcohol, a half pack and giggles. Then tuck her into bed after she had one too many.
Despite himself, he snorted at the burp. Typical Y/N, finding humor in everything. "Yeah yeah, save the sass for when you're sober," he retorted, leaning against the pool table with his beer. His gaze lingered a little longer on her face, noting the dark circles now visible beneath her eyes. "Seriously though, y/n/nβ¦" he added, voice softer now, "Talk to me."
Y/N sighed, downing the rest of her beer before trudging over to the bar and ordering a round of shots for both of them. Sam watched her with patient eyes after she paid for them and padded back over to him with the tray of shots, two each. βBottoms up, little Winchester. Itβs gonna be a looong nightβ
Sam raised an eyebrow at the shots, but didn't protest, not because he wanted to encourage her drowning her problems in vodka, but because he knew sheβd just do it anyway if he tried to stop her.
He took one of the shots without hesitation and clinked his glass against hers before throwing it back with a grimace. The burn was familiar, though these days, Sam usually preferred beer over liquor if anything.
Y/N grimaced, hating every second of that but it always seemed to do the job. "Alright," Sam exhaled sharply after swallowing the burning liquid, guiding her to the table. "Now that youβre officially past any point of coherent conversation, talk."
His tone was light but his gaze wasnβt joking around anymore, those big brown eyes pinned her like she was under interrogation by puppy-dog law enforcement.
She sighed once more, βOkay, donβt get me wrongβ She began, getting comfortable in her seat. βItβs hard adjusting to all of this, being on the road by myself. While itβs freeing being away from daddy and Johnβ¦.part of me feels like I abandoned Deanβ She admitted.
Sam nodded, his gaze softening a bit. He knew that feeling too well, the guilt of leaving family behind for a sense of freedom. He understood her.
But still, Sam was a fixer at heart and just couldn't keep his mouth shut. "You didn't abandon Dean," he said firmly, "You're just...finding your own way."
Y/N gave him a skeptical look. "That's easy for you to say, Mr. I'm-Off-to-Be-a-Lawyer." She quipped, before adding quietly, "You always had that safety net." She realized how it sounded once the words spilled from her lips, quickly apologizing. βIβm sorry, Sammyβ I didnβt mean it like that. Iβ I know it wasnβt easyβ¦.its justβ¦β
Sam took a deep breath, trying to push down the sudden flare of irritation that her words sparked. So he held up a hand, cutting her off with a small shake of his head. "No, it's fine. I get it," he assured her, voice steady but quiet enough that the bar noise drowned it out for anyone else.
He swirled the remnants of his shot glass absently before continuing, "It wasn't easy for me either." His gaze flicked up to meet hers again, open and honest in that way she always knew meant he wasn't bullshitting her just to make things better between them. βBut youβre right...I had Stanford as an excuse.β
He shrugged before finishing softly, βBut you? Youβre braver than I ever was." She snorted, bringing the other shot to her mouth. βYeah, youβre gonna make a great lawyer because that was a steaming load of bullshitβ
Sam exhaled sharply, somewhere between a laugh and frustration. "Okay, fine," he conceded, rolling his eyes but there was no real bite to it. He downed the second shot with her this time.
He set the glass down harder than necessary before fixing her with that patented, βIβm not buying your shit' look he had perfected.
"You wanna hear it straight? Fineβ leaving sucks." His voice dropped lower despite the music blaring around them so she'd have to lean in, which she did. "But staying would've killed you."
Tears stung at her eyes again, that lump growing in her throat once more. βIs it bad that I wish it did?β She confessed, βMaybe then, just maybeβ¦I wouldnβt have deliberately abandoned him.β
Sam's head snapped up at her confession, his gaze sharpening with all the worry that came so naturally to him. He reached out without thinking, wrapping his long fingers around her wrists.
"Hey, don't say that." His grip was firmer than usual but his voice softened with every word, as if trying to soothe her through touch alone. "You didn't abandon him, y/n." Sam insisted, his tone brokering no argument. "You were just making a choice. A damn hard one. If anythingβ¦you saved yourself."
βExactly, I saved myselfβ She choked out a humorless laugh. βIt was a selfish, heat of the moment move. Like yes, I wanted to leave for years now. But I know how our dads can be, you know how they can be. Theyβre gonna put him through the fuckinβ ringer. I mean, when you left theyββ
Sam's grip tightened just a fraction as her words hit him like a sucker punch, the memories of those days still too fresh for comfort. He averted his eyes, jaw clenching as he fought to keep his tone level, fighting his own demons at the same time.
"I know," He managed, voice cracking ever so slightly as he met her gaze again. He pushed down all the old hurts, for her sake. "I know what they do, y/n. But I also know Dean." A gleam of hope in her eyes shone as they flickered up to meet his.
Sam saw it, that flicker, that tiny spark of something other than guilt or self-loathing in her eyes. It was small, fragile, but there.
And goddamn it if he wasnβt going to fan that flame.
He leaned in closer over the sticky tabletop, his voice dropping low but fierce under the bar's noise. "Dean's tough," Sam said firmly like he was trying to drill the words into her skull with sheer willpower alone.
"He can handle Dad and F/N better than both of us combined, and you know that." He added pointedly before softening slightly. "But more importantly? He wouldn't want you rotting in that life just for him."
She nodded meekly, sniffling as she used her free hand to wipe away the snot at the tip of her nose with her flannel sleeve. βYouβre rightβ¦yβknow, heβs actually covering for meβ A small chuckle left her lips as she retracted her hand from Samβs to grab her beer.
βHe has my location but he isnβt telling dad where I amβ The corners of Sam's lips tugged into a tiny smile at that, despite everything going on. Dean, that bastard, sometimes he could be a real softie when he wanted toβ¦.especially for y/n. And Sam knew that all too well.
"Of course he is," Sam replied with a huff and a slight smirk, shifting back into his seat and lifting his beer to his lips. "Damn softie..." He muttered under his breath, but the affectionate fondness in his words was obvious.
"Honestly," Sam added after a minute, looking a bit more serious again, his gaze lingering on her red-rimmed eyes and the slight flush to her cheeks due to the alcohol. "I worry about you being all on your own out there, y/n."
βIβll be fine, Samβ She assured him, βJust make sure when you get back to that supermodel gal of yours, you give her a big honking kiss for me and some sweet sweet lovingβ She smirked wickedly.
That managed to knock a genuine laugh out of him, some of the tension melting away from his features. He rolled his eyes comically, reaching over to ruffle her hair like they were kids again, just to be a smartass
.
"Ha ha, hilarious." He deadpanned, but even then, she could see the affection in his eyes. "And for the record, Jess is an art history major...not a supermodel."
βCoulda fooled meβ Y/N shrugged, grinning as she tilted the bottle to her mouth. Sam just shook his head, muttering under his breath. "You're impossible."
He watched her take that swig, the way her smile didnβt quite reach her eyes, not fully, but it was there. And right now, after everything? That was enough.
The bar buzzed around them, music low and steady, the clink of glasses and scattered laughter, but for a moment, it all faded into background noise. Just like old times. No monsters under the bed or fathers screaming orders through motel doors.
Just them.
Y/N met his gaze and held it this time, no jokes, no sarcasm, just quiet understanding between two people who'd survived too much together to pretend they donβt matter to each other.
After a beat, Sam leaned back in his chair with a tired sigh that carried years of silence behind it. βYou call me when youβre on the road againβ¦please. Donβt go getting knocked up by some rando, at least settle down for a normal life first.β His voice cracked dramatically to which Y/N reacted over and nearly punched a hole into his shoulder.
Sam yelped, laughing as he clutched his shoulder. βI hate you!β she groaned before smirking again because hey, they were Winchesters (wellβ¦.she was an almost-Winchester).
-
The engine purred under them as Sam guided the Harley through the quiet night, one hand firm on the handlebars, the other wrapped securely around Y/Nβs waist to keep her from slumping sideways.
Right now, he was scared out of his mind driving this damn thing. But Y/N was drunk out of her mind, so if he left her bike at the bar and called her a cab. Sheβd tape his balls to his forehead. Heβd risk losing his life than facing Y/Nβs wrath when it came to her sweet girl, Quinn.
She was a dead weight against his chest, half-asleep and muttering nonsense into the wind, something about "puppy lawyer Sammy" and "Deanβs never gonna love me" which earned a tired chuckle from him.
He didnβt correct her. Just held on tighter when she swayed too far left.
When they reached the safehouse's driveway, he cut the engine gently, helping her wobble off like sheβd never ridden a damn bike in her life.
"Come on," he murmured, looping an arm around her shoulders as she mumbled something about tacos and holy water being a good comboβ¦..it wasnβt. He fished through her pockets for the key, because of course she had it stuffed deep, and unlocked the familiar door without fanfare.
Inside smelled like leather jackets and gun oil, the scent of home more than any house ever gave either of them.
Sam kicked off her boots dragging her up to her room, tossing her into the bed. βFuck, youβre heavier than you look dudeβ He groaned before peeling off her jacket and laying her fluffy blanket over her.
She curled instinctively toward his warmth as he tucked it over her shoulders, one sleepy eye cracking open to squint up at him.
"...Stay?" She whispered hoarsely, not demanding or dramatic, just small. Vulnerable in that way only drunk or exhausted hunters ever got. She was willing to risk getting sleep punched just for one more night with her best friend, she wasnβt sure when sheβd see him again.
Sam hesitated only a second before fishing his phone out of his pocket and shooting a quick text to Jess that heβs crashing at his buddyβs house because theyβre both wasted (even thought he was fully sober)
He then kicked off his own boots and stretched out beside her like they did all those years before of the two younger ones being forced to sleep in the same bed but close enough that when she reached out blindly in drowsy trust?
His hand found hers instantly between their bodies. And softly, with more tenderness than should fit inside such a shabby room, he whispered back, βAlways.β

Authorβs Note: Iβm just so happy to finally finish this because as much as I love Sam and Deanβs sibling relationship. And I absolutely loveee Jo and Y/N, Sam and Y/N are the ogs, theyβll always have a special place in my heart <3
Hereβs to the Wonder Twins (as Dean so kindly puts it)π I hope you guys enjoyed this, Iβve been feeling so motivated to write for the prequel these days. Iβm sorry I havenβt been focusing on Genesis lately but I PROMISE Iβm not abandoning it. Iβd rather die than leave my baby unfinished.
Did you guys find the Easter eggs I laid out?π Lmk if you caught them lol. Till the next one!
I donβt usually share personal pictures of myself or my loved ones on tumblr but Iβm genuinely so obsessed with these pictures I took with me and my boyfriend at a wedding we attended. I wanted to show my online family (you guys) because my irl family absolutely LOVED THEM!π«Ά so i guess hereβs my unofficial face reveal that no one really asked forπππ
As a diehard Dean girl, I HATE when I come across a Sam edit on my feed and Iβm suddenly attracted to him. Like I have eyes and I can appreciate a fine man like Sam Winchester himself but WTF SAMMY?! YOUβRE MY SNOT NOSED BROTHER, YOUβRE MY BESTIE. STOP DOING THIS TO ME DUDE
My guilty pleasure when I have no motivation to write is re-reading my already written/posted fics and then commenting on them (mentally ofc) as though Iβm a reader and I donβt know whatβs gonna happen next π€£π€£
Iβm like, βdammit Y/N, canβt you see that he LOVES YOU?!? STOP PISSING ME OFF, WOMAN!β or βif these two donβt shut up and kiss, Iβm gonna kmsβ
Then after theyβre together, βwhyβre they always fucking?β¦.not complaining tho but FOCUSβ and my absolute favorite, βSTAN QUEEN Y/Nβ because my girl is the baddest bitch out there, hate her or love her.
hey so. don't do this. being a minor doesn't give you an excuse to be an entitled piece of shit. if you're old enough to use the internet and communicate with strangers online, you're old enough to know basic manner. fanfic writers write for themselves, they don't owe you anything. youβre privileged enough to read their works for free. either be respectful to them or shut the hell up.
to clarify, this didnβt happen to me. I found it on twitter and it made my blood boil
by the way, if you talk like this to a stranger in real life, you might get a black eye. I donβt condone violence, but sometimes if you fuck around, youβll find out. itβs one thing to joke like this with your friend, someone youβre close with. but a stranger? know your boundaries.
Oh my God, you silly gooses (said lovingly, though somewhat exasperatedly). This is how Gen Z talks. Itβs how they joke around.
If someone left these comments on any of my fics, I wouldnβt be offended. I would interpret them as what they are: a young person trying to goof around.
They didnβt literally call you a bitch. They werenβt actually angry about your absence. They are likely too young to have a job yet, and was, in their naivety, surprised that a writer they like is older than them.
Sure, you might question their word choices or uh social competence, but⦠being offended? Angry? Unless this commenter is harassing you in any way, please take these comments as clumsy attempts at starting a conversation with what seems to be a writer they hold in high regard.
Please donβt be a βkids these days!β-person. You were a weird teenager once, too. And maybe you were lucky enough to be a teenager so long ago that your awkward attempts at making friends wouldnβt be screenshot and reblogged 16k times on Tumblr.
And honestly, I like this commenter. They seem fun.
