she was in a good mood, an extremely good mood. her single had just been released and it was everything she wanted on a day like this. it was powerful and like gucci allowed her to show herself off as a rapper. it didn’t escape her notice that even though she produce for her group, her album hadn’t lived up to her some fans and her own expectations.

but either way, she had been was happy. her new single showed and soon they would be off to japan for their tour so she treated herself to some snacks and when it was time to pay, she told the cashier she’d pay for the person behind her.

ai didn’t typically indulge in junk food. not out of any particular desire to stick to her diet and be healthy, but out of habit - she’d grown up eating whatever she was given. reaching or asking for more was borderline unthinkable. sometimes, though, she required a little home cooking to feel better - it just so happened her home cooking had largely consisted of instant noodles growing up.

“oh - ah, thank you unnie!” ai piped up upon hearing her elder’s kind offer. while dimensions gave their idols an allowance, it seemed never to stretch far enough. this helped. still, though, her mother had told her that nothing was ever free. “can i repay you somehow?”
