@lt-ghxst It’s been awhile since Sherlock has gone hunting. He’s sort of retired now, but God is it boring. How do ordinary people find satisfaction in doing nothing with their life? And after everything he has been through and seen, it was pretty much impossible to go back to any kind of “normal” life. Whatever that was. He sure as shit didn’t know what that was even before Dean Winchester walked into his life. So, when a demon showed up as a case of course the consulting hunter took it. He wasn’t sure he was familiar with this one, sometimes new ones popped up from time to time. He was on the trail, and the interesting thing was he was pretty sure this demon was new to being a demon. Of course, his deductions were never wrong. If Sherlock was right (of course he was, don’t be ridiculous), then this demon might not be beyond saving. While he had a tendency to be more ruthless in his hunting than the brothers were, it was hard to deny he hadn’t tried to save a few now and then. Usually the only one he was saving was Dean or Sam, but maybe after all these years they’d rubbed off on him...at least a little.
For now, the British man was just tracking the demon. He was staked out in the building across the street from the hotel the demon had taken up residence in. A human tendency still there? Or was the demon after something here? For now, he was just gathering intel. Maybe it was the detective in him that still enjoyed the investigative part of the chase. He wouldn’t say he was a particularly patient man, but he does know better than to just barge into a situation. Especially when the target is an unknown demon.
