The person who was dumb enough to drug Gabriel deserved whatever they got. And whatever they got, came in the form of a very pissed off fire goddess with flame throwers for hands. Kali incinerated them from the inside out, the body falling to the ground as one big lump of coal. She stepped over them and towards Gabriel. "What happened to you?" she asked, bending down to help him up.

Gabriel grumbled something, not quite oriented enough to speak coherently, and took hold of her arm, staggering to his feet."What’ver that thing was…wasn’ hum’n, dammit…" He turned away to spit, not at all surprised at the reddish puddle it made on the ground. "I c’n’t f’cking heal m’self, this is shit!" Leaning against the wall, the archangel huffed loudly; he didn’t like this, not one bit. 

"Wh’t the hell was ‘n that drink…"

"Maybe, but doubtful." Kali said, helping him. "I’m gonna take us home. Hold on okay?"

"Y-Yeah," he forced in reply, relying on her more heavily than he was willing to admit, "I’m holding on. How far is h-home, per say?"

"Not far." she replied, teleporting them back to her house. She quickly opened the door and went inside, teleporting them up to the guest room where she sat Gabriel on the bed.

"Ugh," Gabriel groaned, leaning against the bed frame once she set him down, "h-how bad does 't look? Have I retained my good looks?" He attempted a smile.

Beaming, Gabriel transported them to said bakery in less than a second. He was already practically drooling.

Kali watched him, giggling to herself.

"Okay, what do you want?" He turned to her, tapping the tips of his fingers together excitedly.

Gabriel stepped inside, chuckling to himself, “You are very welcome.” He followed her into the kitchen, leaning against the counter, as he’d made a habit of doing. “Can I help you with anything?”

"It’s okay I got it." Kali replied, grabbing the vase from a cabinet and filling it with water before arranging the flowers in it. She set the vase on the island. "There we go."

Gabriel smiled, feeling a bit more accomplished than he probably should have, "You ready to go then?"
