My boss is the best

I was in a really bad mood today and was not going to deal with any bullshit I got into the studio, made direct eye contact with boss lady and said "I'm in a really shitty mood today, don't know why but heads up someone might die" She didn't say anything, just left me alone until I calmed down and then made sure I was doing all of the things I like to do at work, she also kept me away from the desk (HATE desk work) and told me I looked pretty today hehe Best boss ever

So teaching a dance lesson

This guy and his girlfriend have been taking dance lessons for about a month now and every lesson is a complete blast Now, first let's start by pointing out that this guy is a full grown male, he's a contractor by trade and can probably throw me across the room if he wanted to as he is twice my size and all man Today while learning a new step he was getting frustrated so he yelled at the top of his lungs "teacher Kira I need help!!!!!" Not only do I teach adults all the time but they always call me by my first name only so this is a pretty big deal for me It's been 5 hours and I'm still on a power trip

Today I went to give a coworker 'props' before I left and our rings interlocked as we made eye contact It was the most intimate fist pump I've ever had

I have been waiting for this my whole life

Since I was like 8 or 9 I had this fear that I'd come home and someone would be hiding behind my bedroom door (it was always open so it is the only spot you wouldn't be seen). So every day I'd come home and slam my door into the wall to make sure no one was behind it before entering and every time it would bang against the wall I knew I was all clear. I haven't done this in years though Today for some reason after years of not being afraid of what is behind my door, I put all of my strength into slamming against that door so it would hit the wall I've never heard a grown man squeal like that before as the doorknob hit my brothers man business, he was trying to scare me but I think I did more damage I always knew I was training for something

We have a problem

I just found out my boyfriend hasn't seen a Disney movie in over a decade and hasn't seen his favourite Disney movie in FIFTEEN YEARS What the actual fuck, a piece of his childhood is literally missing and he doesn't even know it Not to mention Disney movies are so much better when you're an adult I seriously need to fix this.
