It has been said much about telecommunications in the world. But anyway, I would like to sing the praises of the phone card again. It is so small but it has an important place in our lives especially in life of the drivers, immigrants and all people who are away from home for a long time and often for reasons beyond their control. I had spent several years in one of the southern countries of Europe. And I often phoned to my son who was in another country where he was finishing university. Only I know how a lot of money was spent out of my budget for long-distance calls since I called from my home phone and sometimes from a mobile. I didn't realize to use calling cards. I associated it with a kind of vanity. But one day my friend from India just convinced me to use a service telephone card. A month later I was pleasantly shocked by the fact that this little card had retained a significant amount of my monthly budget. So we live in the third millennium, we now cannot imagine our life without telecommunications, we make calls to someone else to our home country or abroad daily, we use telephone calls to share our joyous or sad events with someone and it does not matter in what country you are, as we have our little friend - the phone card that connects all of us living on different continents.
