Adams Family Sentence Starters || ACCEPTING!
“Oh you know what you’re doing, huh?
“That’s the kind of thing people say when they have no idea what they’re doing.” Okay, sometimes when people say that they do actually know what they’re doing, but for the sake of argument that’ll be ignored.
God I’ve had like no time to get on here this week.

MEET THE PARENTS
Yang Eun-Bae and Yang Hyung-Seok
Fcs: Go Hyun-jung and Lee Byung-hun
Ages: 45 and 46
Hyung-Seok’s history:
Yang Hyung-Seok was born in Incheon, South Korea. At the age of nine his parents, two older sisters and himself all packed up and moved to Australia when his Father had to relocate after he received a long awaited promotion. The first two years there the siblings were mainly home schooled in an attempt to get them better acclimated. Out of the three Hyung-Seok had always done best with English, so when they joined public schooling it was assume he’d do the best. Of course it didn’t work out that way; he wasn’t very interested in school, he much preferred movies/television, particularly paranormal ones. At fourteen he got a brand new camera for his birthday. He got so excited that he started filming everything, and two weeks later he had already used up all the tapes they had bought for it. Because of which, his parents decided to make him a deal, every time he did well in class they would buy another vhs tape for his camera. Begrudgingly he went with it, and started getting regular passing grades during his first year of high school. This allowed him to follow his dream and get into decent film college in Florida, where he hoped to find a good job that would potentially propel him in the right direction.
Eun-Bae’s history:
Kim Eun-Bae (mostly known by her surname Kim because people just assume instead of listening to her) was born in Tampa, Florida. She was an only child of two small time bakery store owners. When she was a teenager she started working at the store everyday after school, but when business was slow she would often slack off in the back and write. She determined to become a journalist for a news agency when she grew up and was also writing and practicing speeches in front the mirror. Through the television production program at her high school she was able to get a scholarship for college.
Together at last:
During Eun-Bae’s first year and Hyung-Seok’s second they found themselves in the same Broadcast News class. They didn’t speak or really notice the other one until they had to do group assignment together. After that they just clicked. They got married a year later (despite the protests of Eun-Bae’s parents.) Eun-Bae had continued to take classes when she became pregnant, although less than she had been taking originally. Not wanting her to loss her scholarship and quite, Hyung-Seok scrambled to finish a year early to take some of the pressure of money off before the baby was born. He took every freelance camera job he could from sporting events to weddings, anything that would pay. A year after being married they found themselves to be the proud parents of a beautiful little girl named Rhea. Eun-Bae then took a semester off, but with her husbands help was able to finish out her degree and find a job as local reporter for the Tribune.
When Rhea was four, Hyung-Seok finally found a concrete job at a small production company that specialized in nature and history shows. He was one of three camera men, (not including the ones whom also doubled as editors) and often had to travel up north for a couple days at a time. For the first year it was a huge struggle, seeing as Rhea wasn’t old enough to go to school yet and they hated just pawning her off to a day care center all the time, but they managed.
It would be nice to say that years went by with them living their dream, but that wasn’t the case. The Tribune was bought out and went through major changes, the biggest being a huge budget cut. So the last ones in were the first to go, including Eun-Bae.
Long story short, after a year of basically just being a stay at home mom, Eun-Bae was getting restless. A friend of hers was the one who finally got her out of her funk when she said she was looking to do a story on a little thing called ghost hunting. Eun-Bae would act as the interviewer/narrator for the program, however it meant being away for several weeks. Much deliberation later, it was decided that it was the best thing for her to do. During her time away with renowned ghost hunters, they taught her some of their techniques for the program and found she had a knack for it. Once back she engrossed herself with paranormal books that her husband already had as a way to appease her new found interest. As a joke, Hyung-Seok suggested that they should create their own show on ghost hunting. Little did he know that would be their reality a few short years later.
The company Hyung-Seok worked for was, mediocre at best if they were being honest, but it was good money. So leaving to put thousands into a show they weren’t sure was going to take off was a huge risk. One that could have potentially meant moving back in with one of their parents. By some miracle it did work out, well the second time around. The first show barely got ten episodes when it was canceled. But when their second show got picked up, not only did they create a successful show, but one that actually gave way to new technology and techniques in the ghost hunting world, not that anyone would admit that though. Of course shows don’t last forever and eventually after years of ratings they had no choice but to end it. All in all, they loved their small little legacy they had built and were happy with it’s end. The two still consult on other shows, though mainly they focus on behind the scenes work and focus on spending time together and with their daughter.
I may or may not be writing a huge history for Rhea’s parents instead of working on replies and the starter I owe...

“—Why would I do that? And define ‘better’, because that could really mean a lot of things. More interesting? ‘Cause then I know I’ll win, and if I do I want a case of Mountain Dew: Code Red. No negotiations.”
“ —Really? You have the option to pick literally anything if you win and you pick one pack of soda? Alright, whatever you want. And yes, I suppose ‘better’ as in more interesting is what I meant. Do you really need a good reason as to why? Is the probability of some fun and getting a new exciting story to share at parties not enough?”
