Itâs âtomorrowâ only after you have slept, no matter how much past midnight it is.
Hi maâam, your daughter is exactly what this world needs. â¤ď¸

Apparently this is actually good for kidsâ brain development. It trains their speech receptors and they learn language faster.Â
They love going to this indoor playground near us when the weather is bad.
Court Dates
Fellow FPâs:Â
Are you made aware of what court dates are for and/or what the outcome of said court dates is? Â How soon after court are you told?
Has anyone else been discouraged from attending court dates? Â We havenât hit a permanency hearing yet, but I definitely was discouraged from attending what I now know was a custody hearing, as well as two different court dates (well, technically three) where it was her case (as opposed to drug court or criminal court or something).
(trying to figure out what is normal vs. what is my worker)
In NYC we knew about every hearing, but the parents were fighting the charges and do there was this big question of when they could even start services, so it was all kind of pressing.
Here, we know the dates but definitely no one encourages us to be there. I am trying to decide whether it is worth going to the next court date. The county is committed to their permanency plan but I still feel like it is crazy to take this girl who crawls into my bed after a bad dream and move her to a fourth home.
Part of me feels like we could get to know mom and convince her. But TPR will be finalized at this hearing and then she wonât have a say any longer after that.
Anyway. Back to your question. I wouldnât say weâre discouraged from attending but there isnât really a reason for us to be there and no one has ever suggested that we should. Briko went to some hearings without usâher case worker took her when she wanted to go. The kidsâ attorneys are where we always get info on what happens in court. Usually that day. Never from the case worker.
But I always feel like Iâm getting good information about what is likely to happen in court from the lawyers.
We always know when court dates are and get the summary of court that day from the social worker. We've never been invited to court but have been asked to go to the MDT so our input can be on record for court.
Theyâre always watching đť
The cutest thing ever.
Sometimes it really should be like that
Took the boys on their first hike. They seemed to really enjoy it.
