I love these spirals. They have an odd ability to make me feel as though the world is so big but so small. They are like the branching paths of a thousand different choices, but they are all connected and come from one place.

So why is it not fair?

I feel so dense next to you.

And the million other little things I knew

About you.

The world is bleak,

There is nothing we can do.

I hear the stairs creek,

As you lean on me too.

I feel so weak,

But so do you.

We can't speak,

But we weap,

As there is not much we can do

As there is much we can do.

i have this reoccurring dream that i'm running through this field. sometimes it's flowers, sometimes it's grass. i have these clothes on that change from a dress to a skirt to overalls to pants to shorts to crop tops to nothing to everything. my hair and my face are blurred, you can't tell who i am, but still, you know. most times my friends are with me, others it's just me and wildlife, maybe i'm just alone. i'm giggling and smiling and laughing and grinning and everyone and everything is just so happy.

if there is an afterlife, or a heaven, i hope it's something like that dream.
