I'm making this poll both out of curiousity, and as a form of feedback for how I and other selfshippers can improve the way we make imagines.

Selfshippers who struggle to fit themselves into most imagine posts: How come?

They assume romantic F/Os by default

They assume monogamy by default

I'm actually okay with sharing my F/O(s)

I'm not from the USA/I'm not white

I don't like physical affection

I'm disabled in a way that makes the usual physical affection difficult

My neurodivergence isn't just "quirky autism"

I don't identify as human (partially or fully)

My hair is textured/I wear a headdress/I'm bald

I'm not thin

I'm not a perisex, no-surgery, no-HRT, AFAB

This poll is specific to selfshippers themselves, since I've noticed that imagines are more mindful about including nonconventional F/Os as opposed to the selfshippers (unfortunately).

(Also for the second-to-last point: This is not me saying I have issue with selfshippers who fall under that. However, even the gender neutral imagines still tend to assume selfshippers are all of those things at once.)
