Ok I get why Maxie thought Groudon might have been sleeping at Mount Chimney in Ruby/Omega Ruby, considering it’s known for sleeping in lava or magma (depending if its above or below ground), but why did Archie first try there before the discovery of the Seafloor Cavern?

Kyogre, the whale god of the sea, is very very unlikely to be sleeping in a fucking volcano. Plus it’s fucking ocean bound without being in a Pokéball. Did he seriously think after Rayquaza told it to fuck off thousands of years ago it dragged itself onto land, across a crap ton of rocks and grass and ash, and threw itself in a pit of lava? Archie you dumb hot pirate try thinking for once.
