podcast?? youtube?? mysterycore??

hello campers! around a year ago now i created one of my personally most beloved posts- the one about mysterycore. it has since kicked off a small community of people who loved all things strange and unexplainable. now almost a year later, it’s still on my mind… and i have decided that i want to bring the concept to it’s furthest length. i’d like to create something a bit collaborative. sort of a basement archive of strange occurrences, photos (both collected by myself and submitted), personal stories (possibly interviews?), and general mysterycore discussion that’s largely community based. basically it’s what would happen if fox mulder decided to start a video pod from his coffee stained, cluttered office. 

i assume that i’ll host the videos on youtube but i could also put them onto a podcast type service. i will shoot on one of my point and shoot cameras (for that found footage aesthetic :>) and record with a decent mic (either blue yeti or zoom) so that you don’t have to listen to the atrocious audio that comes out of point and shoots. 

now… the next step is to hear back from all of you? i would love for this to turn into a community effort, one that we can all have fun in participating in. are there any topics you would like to hear about? encounters you would like to tell? advice for starting out on a project of this nature? send them my way!

if this gets enough traction and if people are even interested at all, i might create a separate blog to sort all of the information and make it a more streamlined process.
